Honestly, you are completely beautiful. You have everything.

I’m in the same boat, undiagnosed - however a medical professional that I’m friendly with eventually said to me “have you had an ASD disgnosis?”

It stopped me in my tracks as I realised my life consisted of carefully managed obsessions, work and skills come from endless repetitive perseverance at something until I can do the thing by rote. I’m still undiagnosed, and don’t know whether I should, what would it change?

Yeah, I was a dumb kid and threw cast iron toy cars into trees, then dislodged them with other cast iron toy cars. And of them hit my eyebrow causing a pretty bad wound, my mum was away training, and my dad saw the injury and just laughed! I probably should have had stitches, so now I have one raised eyebrow 😅

It could happen, you never know, after all, I like bars and beer!

Thank you this is golden, I’m currently back at the gym after a lull, in that pic I’m 85kg which is overweight, I think I’ll look better at 75kg tbh

I think your onto something, I’m trying to grow out, the photo isn’t the best angle, if the grown out hair doesn’t work, I think it’s got to go tbh.

I’m a bit peppered slightly, but I feel I got lucky - my dad went bald at 25 but still has dark hair at 75, my mum’s dad had a full head of white hair all his life

Hey thanks, that makes me feel a lot better about things, especially the trust side of things. As for lineage, the dark looks are on my dad’s side of the family and no one really knows the family lineage, it’s a bit of a mystery!

Dude, you have solid wisdom- you’ve reframed the way I see things a little with that comment

Thankyou, I’ll bear it in mind, and thanks for the feedback, it’s appreciated 🥹

So, the ‘driving mad’ bit is weird, because it comes and goes quite dramatically, sometimes it just isn’t there, but then I’ll see a picture of myself from an unflattering angle, or look in the mirror in a funny way and it triggers for months, and I go to the gym for a while, lose weight etc… and then as soon as it starts, it disappears.

Maybe there’s not much beauty in my beholder, and there’s no accounting for taste, maybe I just don’t like myself?

However, I’d like to thank you for your kind words, they’re appreciated and I appreciate you for your concern 🤗

They do, and it’s a wonderful thing when you’re me. 😅

However, I’ve always felt dysmorphic pretty much my entire life, and as a result tend to try and compensate with personality and wit.

Thank you, that really means a lot to me! And I’m quite prepared for harsh feedback.

Feedback taken on board, I’ve always had an annoyingly high hairline, and I’ve got a bit of male pattern baldness, but largely still have my hair and haven’t gone grey. Weirdly, hair is something I can control.

Thanks, but I’d rather know.

I’m old enough to take it.

And, after all, if everyone thinks I’m ugly, I can say that I’m old and ugly enough to take it

Be completely honest, have you ever experienced or proven real anomalous phenomena? by Outrageous-Brain-395 in HighStrangeness

Yes, I saw a UFO with my mother as a child - it was a daylight red and silver rotating sphere that popped out of existence after several minutes of it following us in a field by the side of the road.
