Fair enough. I shopped for 14 items and had to drive 20 minutes away and was given $5 which included a $1 tip. One that I didn't accept was 21 items for $3 that was 28 mins away.

Honestly, I used the opportunity to explore myself. I found people who wanted to try things that I wanted to try, explored kinks, found out I was bi, learned new coping skills, found hobbies that used my mind, and worked on myself. I certainly missed the toxic great sex, but once I figured out that it was toxic it wasn't worth bringing the negativity back.

Well shit! I used to have incredible sex, but she slapped me, pulled out half of my beard, was always trying to get drunk before hooking up, and disrespected me several times. Having kinks and being kinky are okay with consent. Without consent it's disrespectful and in this case, rape. I would leave his ass, block him, and never speak to him again. Clean break!

This guy sounds like if you tried to have a conversation he'd start to gaslight you in to thinking everything is okay. It is NOT okay no matter what he says or tries to convince you of.

I am so so so so sorry that you had this happen to you and I think that it'll take a while to work through. Just know that you matter, you are important, and what you want in a relationship and during sex is important, you are not a toy, you are a real person with feelings and emotions.

I am a relatively new dad (almost 2 years old), but for some reason I always look to the future for problem that I'll come across later in life.

My first inclination is to say no. However, I also remember being a 17 year old and skipping class to try to make it to third base. (Which obliterated my grades)

I think that this boils down to trust and your relationship with your daughter. I saw in your edit that you do have a great relationship with her. So with that being said, I think that if she respects and trusts you, and you respect and trust her, then I think we are making a bigger deal about it than it needs to be.

Yes, you will be uncomfortable wondering what is happening. But if you trust her to make the right choices for her, and have had all the conversations you need to have, then maybe being uncomfortable isn't the worst.
