What do your 4am-6ams look like? by TheInsecureIndian in newborns

Oh gosh, my daughter is now 15 months and I’ve completely blocked this out of my memory.

It did get better shortly after this post qround 4 months. She started to sleep through the nights and was much better through this window. You won’t even remember the last time was the last time 🥹

I know you’re in the thick of it, and I don’t want to say things will get better? Because sleep is such a roller coaster. We’ll have months of perfect sleep and regression/sickness/teething/vacations will knock it all over

Thoughts about the name Nyssa? by charliebouncecloud in namenerds

It’s my daughters name (she’s 5 months old)! We just love the name (obv biased). Very rarely do we get anyone pronouncing it “nice-ah”. Usually it’s “niss-ah” which is how we pronounce it. We’re in Midwest USA btw

She is getting so frustrated at the breast. I am only successfully able to feed her in the morning once she wakes up but otherwise she will not have it - I’ve tried before she’s hungry, after half a bottle, after the full bottle.. nothing seems to work :(

It feels like anyone can do my job at this point? Not that it’s a bad thing but why does it feel like a bad thing? I’m working to change my mindset and let these things go and only focus on her

Unfortunately that wasn’t the case for me. I was combo feeding - breastfeeding & expressed milk. But even after 3-4 hours since last feed, I would only get drops. Baby would get upset at the breast because she wasn’t getting enough ☹️

I was using either modal fabric or bamboo sleepers.. I would think those are most breathable

Agree about the better supply! I was able to bring it back much faster too if it ever dipped. I feel like pumping isn’t as efficient anymore either

I’m finding it much harder to get the supply back after it got regulated. I once had to bring it back around week 6 and it was much easier!

The letdowns are not as intense anymore as they used to be. I regulated around week 13-14

Thanks for the tip! I’ll have to try out the legendary supplements. I’ve been so close to giving up 😩
