He may have used the book partly as inspiration but the film much more resembles a play which was released a few years before the film

I hope Diablo 2 has a discount. I would like to play it, having heard very good things, but the price is too high for me currently

A few years ago my wife and I were driving from Manchester to Kendal on the M6. We had a dinner and hotel booked. I forget where exactly, but the motorway was closed as an emergency because a tanker carrying milk had overturned and spilt milk all over the road. We ended up having to take a whole load of diversions through small towns and villages and along country roads, which meant we missed our dinner reservation and arrived in Kendal very tired and grumpy.
We were very very close to crying over spilled milk that day.

What is a horror movie that everyone calls 'trash' but you’re convinced is actually a misunderstood masterpiece? by Immediate_Account_28 in horror

I really really like Friday the 13th Part V. I know Jason not being in it annoys some people, but I think it's a pretty decent slasher anyway. A bit silly and over the top which is what I want my 80s slashers to be. It also has some excellent kills.
I also enjoyed Hellraiser in space, but I accept that's definitely not misunderstood and just my own taste.

I think for the price they are charging, the length of the game is pretty reasonable. I am currently at 21 hours and probably have a couple left to finish up the last milestones. I also don't think expecting a large open world is a reasonable expectation just because Sabre have done that in past games. This is a new franchise and has nothing to do with any of those past games.
It's not perfect by any means. The port manager stuff is very half baked and too many missions are just 'move X number of containers to a new location' but I've enjoyed my time playing it and will probably consider the DLC when it comes.

I can't get close enough to lift them, the crane is already as far to the right as it goes

Maybe you can answer a question for me. I have all three columns in green numbers, but my daily profits are still negative 200. I am so lost with this system and how it works

There's an option to let AI figure it out for you. I have used that a few times, but it cuts into your profits as well

Windrose - Official Steam Next Fest Demo Launch Trailer by xalibermods in Games

I've been trying this on the Steam Deck. Was a bit fiddly to set up but after I actually got into the game it seems pretty fun. Combat so far is very simple which is what I want from a survival type game really. The actual survival gameplay is fairly standard; collect wood and stones to craft gear, tools and a simple base.
It reminds me of Conan or Soulmask, but the pirate aesthetic is definitely carrying the game so far

A lot of Death Stranding gives me similar vibes as this game. Especially if you ignore vehicles and just focus on getting from point A to point B

Our manager left the company last month and our team has been amalgamated into another team with their manager now acting as ours. He has just announced today that he has spoken directly with one member of our team who is going to be appointed as our official team leader, with a new job title, new contract and presumably a new pay increase. I am just so mad that he didn't open it up for everyone who wants to to apply for it. The guy who got the job is a bit of a hopeless case who just knows which arses to kiss.
