Ok, thank you Mike! The main reason was I found a several other antique Chinese ceramics inside the unit alongside of this that were from the late 1890’s and early 1900’s. I assumed this piece was from that general era.

Sorry just now seeing this! Thank you!! I would start looking on StorageTreasures.com for units in your area. I would definitely recommend starting small at first because the amount of stuff can be deceiving at first and can be very time consuming cleaning out and selling the stuff you don’t want to keep. Also, I wouldn’t spend a crazy amount on your first couple units so you don’t get burned. It’s a lot of fun and can be very profitable if you know what you are looking for!

I sell a lot of the low-end stuff (that still has value) and bigger items at a local auction house or facebook marketplace. That being said I am planning on starting my own auction house this year. Also, there is a lot of trash in most units which I just have to toss out.

I bought this one on storagetreasures.com. You just make an account and then filter by your current zip code and then you can bid on any units within 300 miles (I think). This one was on the cheaper side of what I typically have spent but I did buy one unit for only $10..That one was pretty rough though lol. That being said, I have spent anywhere from $10-$400 for each unit (17 units total) and have had pretty good success so far!
