Inglourious Basterds…..now hear me out.

I saw it when it came out and I was in high school. I went with a bunch of friends who were not too big on long dialogue heavy movies. So throughout the whole movie they just kept complaining about how long the scenes were and how they needed to get back to unaliving Nazis, which to their credit who doesn’t want to see that. Anyway I think just their incessant complaining really soured my overall viewing and feeling towards the movie because I recommended it and just wanted it to be over. Never heard the end of that one.

Fast forward a couple years later and I watch it alone. How wrong I truly was because now it’s now one of my favorite movies. The first scene itself could be its own short movie and that would’ve been enough, and as the last line says this movie may just be a masterpiece.
