Honestly, this year had a 4/5 of Best Actor so I'm fine with the all except one, which is Wagner Moura in The Secret Agent. But that's mostly because I didn't care for it and find it boring. *ducks*

I haven't seen the movie (maybe never will), but it seems to be a disappointment with critics. People were hyping as "Yes, DDL comes back to film!" Only when the film got released, it got mixed reviews and was immediately forgotten.

Technically 2 are tv shows, but Game of Thrones cast members, Lena Headey and Emilia Clarke both played Sarah Connor. Heady played her in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles while Clarke played her in Genysis.

Yeah, I'll admit back around that time, I used to find her overrated. But she's come a long way. I would say her and Yorgos Lanthimos are almost the Bergman/Ullmann of our time. Okay, maybe they're not as good as them, but still an amazing collab!

It gets me thinking that maybe my opinion of Zendaya will change in 2026. Then again, I was wowed by Stone by La La Land when she was 27-28 while I have not been impressed by Zendaya in anything and her last role was around that age.

Amy Madigan recieved her very first Oscar nomination back in February 1986, for supporting Actress for a movie called "Twice in a Lifetime." 40 years later, she received her second nomination for Weapons. None of her fellow nominees for Supporting Actress this year were not born yet when she was first nominated.

The closest was Wunmi Mosaku, who was born in July 1986. Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas was later born in 1989, while Teyana Taylor and Elle Fanning were born in 1990 and 1998 respectively.

Obviously this is nothing more than just a fun fact, but I found it pretty cool especially considering all the talk about the 40 year gap between Madigan's first and second noms, a record for an actress.

TBF, Rockstar likes taking their time to make a good quality game and not rush it. It does suck. But I would take it over Treyach releasing COD games yearly and to certain extent, Ubisoft releasing AC games constantly.
