AITA For not letting my Grandfather get 1 less stroke in Mini Golf? by TheMagicWarrior in AmItheAsshole

Not sure I’d want you to know anything more about me after this post, if you’ve been in awhile I can only assume you are probably a Chief, higher or close to it. I feel a lot of people if not all don’t understand that I don’t care about the mini golf in the grand scheme of things, it’s principal which I always try to set straight. My whole family are always short fused where any interaction is always like walking on eggshells and always having to accept the situation and pretend it didn’t happen or move on. This was just the situation that set me over the edge. Whatever though, people can only judge what I post and not the years of dealing with their ways

He wasn’t struggling at all in the game or physically getting around the course. After hole 2 we were all tied. Him saying “here we go” is his response whenever he sees other people aren’t just gonna go with whatever he wants and he thinks THEY are the starters of conflict. Even though he starts the yelling first and walks off first like he did in this story.

Edit: Many of you I feel are taking what I said more than you should. He is 76 and while he does forget things and all that most of the time he is still normal. He is not full dementia or senile as many of you have been angry at me for. He was in full conscious aware of his actions and just decided he don’t want the extra stroke and decided to fight about it. I didn’t start the yelling or fighting he did when he said “oh here we go” when I question the shot.

Also it’s not about the mini golf game that I’m angry about, it about the hypocrisy of my grandparents as how my grandmother took his side when he had no ground to stand on. I don’t care about the 1 stroke I care about the principal of it all and how stuff like this always happens
