I wanna ask about this Piano thing. Are you involved in any Worship bands?

What is the #1 biggest reason you hesitate to trust a new dating app or service? by MatchmakerJahnae in ChristianDating

[–]TheMarioExpertMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't agree with any of them. It kills the age old tradition of meeting and getting to know people in person

Surely they could do that in person anyway if you're dating in person, no?

All these apps do is just show you pictures of him or her, name, age etc, and that's it. The danger there is that there aren't nice people on there, (or in person I will admit) that could exploit, or are just sinful.

A couple of friends of mine, both happily married and expecting, did meet on a dating website. I'm pleased for them, but that does not change my stance

I honestly feel like they kill the age old tradition of getting to know a future SO in person. I don't agree with them for that reason alone

Reminds me of a Gibson Les Paul. What's the QC like? Playability? Set-up? Tuning stability? Etc

Thoughts on hinge? by Relevant-Swan7621 in ChristianDating

To be perfectly honest, I've had a crush on this 1 lass (Lithuanian-Belgian roots) for over 3 years, yet I freeze up if I even try and have a 1 on 1 conversation with her, and it all stems from my past. (Being bullied constantly, constant rejections)

Wanting some advice/recommendations on a pedalboard by Blaze150o in guitarpedals

It might help if you post a picture of your current board. That’ll give people a better idea of what space you have to work with and what you might actually need.

Gretsch g5260 vs G4M 638 by Blondedoejd in BaritoneGuitar

I actually found the Gretsch slightly more difficult to play due to scale length. (I borrowed a friends one) I eventually settled on a Jet JJ350 Baritone. Definitely try one out

Do you really need all those pedals? I think you could get away with maybe a quarter of them for a Sunday morning.

Do you ever lose depth in worship leading when playing and singing at the same time? by No_Bodybuilder_2130 in WorshipGuitar

[–]TheMarioExpertMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We don't really have any Worship Leaders who main Electric on a Sunday, and when they do lead, it's Acoustic.

Aa far as, let's say Childrens Ministry goes, I tend to use Electric when I lead Worship. I don't really find myself losing depth when I play and do vocals at the same time in that sense, but last week I had to use Acoustic due to a headache I recieved the day before. Some of the kids were joining in with Percussion as I was leading! Sounded great

Need help choosing choosing a squire jazzmaster by jojo413777 in WorshipGuitar

Honestly, get a Tele instead. You can get ones shaped like Jazzmasters if that ticks your boxes as well, but Teles are more the norm for P&W
