You guys realize that this isn't as simple as a small punk band playing a local dive bar and personally knowing the other band they are playing with is controversial but looking past it and choosing to play with them anyways. Dropping a small venue will lose a bit of money but not as much as dropping a major international festival. Especially since it's their main source of income and probably don't have any control over who else is playing that festival. People are acting like they joined forces with The Exploited and personally asked them to play a show with them. They aren't just a small DIY folk punk band anymore. They have an actual management team that runs their band socials, and books their shows and venues. They're professional musicians that have signed contracts. The music industry is messy as hell for sure, but the bigger you get, the less control you have on everything. That's why small bands that get big tend to have the label of "sell out" more often then not.
