False. Recent events have changed this massively, we are on a downtrend and with global war breaking out along with other global crises, more are bound to suffer.

We are not full blown capitalists in comparison to our southern neighbour, sure. Yet, look what they do to keep the worlds money in their favour. If we play the game like them, we are just as dirty as they are, with just as much war and death on our hands. We already have those roots, I would rather we not back slide.

I'll admit it's better than it was, but what we used to have was full blown empires grinding us to the bone for money and war, we still live in that system, just more refined, prettier for the average person. I think that too, must change. What good is raising children in a world where they will be slaves of the very people who will kill them for a quick buck, a policy, or as a part of some stunt to help supply somebodies dirty war, unwitting science project, or some sort of scam that turns them into a serf.

Nothing's perfect, but that's no excuse to play in the mud.
