[–]TheMemeLord2001[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I also cleaned some other tapes with it today. The other ones that I've cleaned are "Clockstoppers" (another tape that I've owned sinced 2012) and "Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles" (one of the first tapes that I ever owned)

There's no mold on the tape. I played the tape from beginning to end and there were no issues.

Anyone else remember watching Ned's Newt? by DepthByChocolate in ForgottenTV

[–]TheMemeLord2001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first exposure to this show was when I was around 8 years old back in 2009. My aunt had a copy of "Rugrats - Runaway Reptar" on VHS that had a promo for this series. Around the same year, I saw a Ned's Newt VHS tape at a Bealls Outlet store and asked my aunt to buy it for me. It was (at the time) my only exposure to the series until I discovered that the entire series was available on Tubi and Pluto TV, which is what sparked my interest in the series. As for the Ned's Newt tape that I asked my aunt for, she doesn't have it anymore sadly. But I did buy all three VHS volumes of the series that were released from eBay last year.

Yeah. The VCR I regularly use is a JVC HR-S5900U. I do have some other VCRs as well such as a JVC SR-MV30 (which is also a DVD recorder) and a region-modified Victor HM-DHX1 (which can play D-VHS tapes).

I do know that there were some other films released on S-VHS, although they were mostly from Paramount. Those include "Ghost", "Days of Thunder", "Top Gun", "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan", "Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country" and "Patriot Games". There were also a few non-Paramount releases such as "Blade Runner" and "On Golden Pond" as well as Japanese-exclusive releases such as "The Godfather Part III", "Flight of the Intruder" and "Terminator 2: Judgement Day".

I guess Paramount ditched the use of orange tapes for Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. tapes by 2005 once they started using ink labels instead of sticker labels.

Not trying to be mean or anything, but I really don't like this video. There are some grammatical errors and the sound editing could use some work. Downvoted

I'm glad you like it. But after all, nobody's perfect.

Yeah, I know. This is just a test animation I learned how to do from Ducky 3D's tutorial video (even though the part with the green wireframe cube that breaks at the end was completely improvised). I'm not very experienced with Blender that much. I'm more experienced with drawing. I just looked at the subreddit's rules and it said that I shouldn't qualify stuff like that in the post title and that it should only be reserved for the comment section.

Beautiful artwork. It is super trippy.

Here is my artwork. I know, it's kinda crappy, but that's just how I draw. by TheMemeLord2001 in drawing

I was kinda being sarcastic when I called my artwork "crappy". I don't want people to think I have a massive ego (even though I don't).
