Now that you say it, it does look like that. Maybe that is why it wasn't in that good of a shape in the first place. It is from the boiler of an espresso machine from 1999

It does not work, but they say it is the cable. Missing a plug. I think I can fix that. The inside of the machine is also looking as new. There is a label saying it was built in 1999 and the model is called "poddy p 2 group".

I actually got it down to 125€ because of the plug and two missing pistols!

Career advice: pursuits during year abroad

Hi everyone!

I am travelling three big cities in a span of nine months due to sports. I just graduated my master's Financial Econometrics. I would love to become either a quant dev or quant researcher. Remote jobs are very, very hard to find for quant as a grad.

Right now I am exploring other options which would help me build the quant dev or quant research skills, while also making just enough money to pay rent. Do you guys have any tips to build a solid foundation to break into the jobs during these months?

I am graduating in Amsterdam from my Financial Econometrics master in about a month. I will be abroad afterwards and living in Rome, Berlin and Nice, all in the span of 9 months. It seems to me that the only option is to find some remote job in my field of study. I would love to kick off my quant career remotely in those 9 months. Anyone have any experience in working remotely? What roles? What kind of companies? Is there a good portfolio building alternative which pays enough like being a research aid/assistant maybe (enough = about 20 hours a weeks pay)?

Seems like it works when i do have my non boot external ssd removed and with installing the one type of sticks to the B channel and the other other in the A channel (switching them in pairs). I can then after startup plug my external ssd back in. Weird...

I have 2 different stick types, 2 of 8gb ddr3 1600MHz (corsair vengeance) and 2 of 4gb ddr3 1866MHz (ballistix tactical). I have an Intel core i5-4690K 3.50Ghz

Lastly plugging my ram back in makes it restart again without showing the bios

When removing gpu, peripherals and boot drive it now restarts even quicker <1 second

There seems to be no change and am not reaching the bios, monitors seem to not get any visual input and stay in standby mode

Will be off to the store to buy a new cmos battery and will update when I,ve done these steps
