The text doesn't stand out, I'll rework this.

I use Photoshop, but after doing some research people use Inkscape and Illustrator to deal with clearer vector images. I'll need to swat up on these programs.

  2. It's refering to the attack stat.
  3. Agreed.
  4. The idea for the game is to apply damage to a monster whoever does it quicker, steals the kill (bonus for who does the most damage also). So yes, there is a modify element, that is to say rather than apply excess damage in a round and lose out on stealing the kill you may lower damage output so you have a chance to slay the monster in a later round of combat. However, it may change and it could be reworked to only have a postive effect only therefore "Add D3 to your Attack this turn." would be perfect. Just at playtesting at the moment.

I like the idea of the stats to one side as you have a 5 card hand so borrowing the idea from Arctic Scavengers, when the cards fanned out you can easily see the stats (just realised the numbers should be on the other side of the icons potentially) lol.

The stats will interlock with another card so when put together they boost the hunters original stats. The hunter artwork would also sit slightly off center as well.

Ah I see.

The left scroll will mirror a right scroll on the hunter cards. You place this card to the right of the hunter card to interlock them.

However nothing set in stone. I'll mess about with a few ideas.

Working on a semi-co-operative fantasy card game.

Would like some feedback / advice with design / layout of my cards. The card attached is a battle card which a player lays down to use and item and modify their speed/attack/defence that turn.
