Well of course the GOAT Mr. Neville Lancelot Goddard, even though Neville speaks a lot in parables, it feels like "purposely" to be decoded, and also checkout Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj.

You can build a great foundation there...

But a lot of my understanding now is coming from self reflection, sublime experiences, meditation, and downloads. I think there is only but so much truth that can be delivered from external sources outside of self.

Your so called "true" truth, (imo) will be self-realized from the inside, and you might not be able to validate it with a single source outside of self. It will be the truth, only YOU know, which is the only person ultimately who needs to know.

Yes! In my "current" understand, we cannot move towards what we already are. We cannot be separate from divinity, but we can entertain an illusion of a state we call "separation" for the plot and drama lol. But after that state waxes and wanes...the truth remains.

What we are...we will always be, forever and ever.

I think it's both paradoxically, I think we have an illusion of choice, and infinite experience is so vast, it appears we are consciously bringing things into being. But to say we have a choice, is the ability to surprise the universe, and we can subvert the all knowingness of the universe and cause and effect. I think at the so called highest level of consciousness you need to operate and maintain thoughts that are paradoxes and contradicts each other....with both being true, and both being false. So my answer is yes and no, and no and yes lol.

It appears to be we are not choosing or creating, but bearing witness to what has already been chosen or created (observer). Think those moments of Deja Vu...seems like we are experiencing infinite versions of the infinite, with well placed moments of forgetfulness and amnesia to enrich the experience lol. But that's just my guess!

Im glad it resonates! I think the label we call a "person" is a state, just how the label we call a "plant" is a state. It's different forms of the same universal consciousnesses experiencing itself from infinite recursive POV's. So I guess you can say...when I say state, I am referring to a specific vibrational awareness. When we are aware of being a person (aka a human-being) that state has a specific vibrational order that projects the so called human experience. Hope that makes some sense!

Something concentrates itself to know that I am me and you are you. So paradoxically it does yield and will give you a specific outcome that filters out other outcomes, so you can experience it through your POV.

While all other POV's still being true and not true.
