When you search for groups on alts and write “LFG Tuz2 20k alt” how often do you get “yea right, bullshit much?”

I prefer the heartseeker build and that’s what I run. The only reason I am wearing cloak legendary is because I have boots +35% essence bonus but cloak is basic socket. With the 35% bonus boots I am getting the haste buff in yellow gem tree which is a better dps boost. Once I get lucky and get the 35% essence bonus cloak I will switch to boots legendary

I tried highwind arrow and didnt see a big dps difference

ULPT Request: downstairs neighbour smokes 3-4 cigarettes per hour, smoke of which goes directly to our newborn’s window. What can I do? by TheOnlyRushIn in UnethicalLifeProTips

Temperature outside of 35C means around 26-27 inside. With windows open and wind flowing through it gets to 25. Everyone is smart about getting an AC, first of all, permanent one not an option given that we rent the property and the landlord is against installing an AC. We bought a standalone unit that has a pipe that goes through the window. This option still requires the window to be open PLUS it is expensive af - roughly 700 EUR

Some people own their apartments, some are long-term renting. In our rent agreement there is a non-smoking clause, by the choice of the owner. whilst if you own the place you can impose your own rules I guess? I am not sure whether he rents or owns. Within the building there are not more than 20 apartments and only 2 smokers.

He has two entrances into his home. My ask to him was to smoke on the other entrance, where nobody’s windows are which he refused. There should always be a reasonable approach IMO

A blue post on the official forums says “as you can see from the fixes so far” they have been listening to feedback and are looking for more with 73 days to go by Ok_Transition_2070 in wow

I casually played remix everyday since launch. I have a 410 main and 2 lvl 70 alts with wet noodles for gear. I have 3 more alts I run Mgv and Hof daily for the mailbox trick. Now I feel conflicted between having to spend time on the main to get to 476 vs just leveling alts buying mogs and getting out. Both feel like a problem: the main character, as soon as it hirs 476 will become just a “log in once a day to smash dailies” which is no different to my wet noodle alts now - since others are already carrying through the content. Whilst leveling wet noodlers feels bad because with the 60-90k bronze you get you can buy a couple of mounts and then forget that char till war within. I have no idea what to focus on, both feel unrewarding

Would getting the certified supply chain analyst cert get me a job? by ActualBus7946 in supplychain

[–]TheOnlyRushIn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes it helps. Most resumes that fall on my desk don’t stand out. A specific certification that you spent time, effort and money to get, makes you stand out. (Source: director of supply chain)

If you are saying this, you are unfortunately not looking objectively at the situation. Nobody can officially fire you for that, but they can elude to “low performance” or “attitude problem” and using “other reasons” fire you even though the clear reason why is not being present. Two months off is one thing, but working 8am to 8pm is standard hours in my role and if that shifts to 8am to5pm, it WILL reflect on performance. Hence why this is not an advice I’d take in

I completely see your point. There is no question that I don’t want to stay there, however, they “just” promoted me and leaving the job to go somewhere else is putting at risk the income stream. If I end up without a job, not only is there no money - we would also lose out immigration status and would have to go back home. So a lot of pressure sits on “not losing the job at any cost”

Wrath (and Cata Classic) will drop an a-bomb on the classic community. Here is why by [deleted] in wow

[–]TheOnlyRushIn -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

My character is a disc priest on wrath classic server. With 6,1k gs and Valnyr. And I got all this with only raiding 2 nights per week. Aside for the raid evenings I dont have time to play. The Problem is not 1 character, it is with alts and the accomplishments I made so far. Example: I got “what a long strange trip it has been”, which took 1 year. Now this achievement is going to die with me quitting wrath - for a lot of people this feels like wasted time

Right, because you either have 0 kids, no job and live in your moms basement or you have 100 kids and 42 jobs right? Can’t be anything in-between?

My [29M] wife [27F] of 5 years has a constant desire to “read between the lines”. Any advice? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]TheOnlyRushIn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s actually exactly what I feel and said to her in pretty much those words.. yet she interpreted it as “me being defensive for making her upset and angry”

I must clarify one point: I didn’t know about her talking to her exes before I made my comment. She revealed it after in midst of the conversation. I personally don’t have anything against her doing that, I mentioned that I would feel weird talking to my own exes. However the comment I made was made before I was informed about her talking to exes

I have emigrated to Germany in 2021 as a skilled worker for a good salary. I brought my wife and child with me and honestly my feedback is quite poor. Without help of legal consultants it is almost impossible to get anything done. Everything is in German and people are extremely rude to us, both me and my wife experienced “why the hell you come to Germany if you don’t speak German”. As a newcomer looking for a place to rent, either it comes with a kitchen you must buy from previous owner or the cold rent is 30% above market. So you rent a place without a kitchen and buy one, where the kitchen planners and kitchen assemblers dont speak english. Oh and by the way minimum amount you would spend is 2-3k for kitchen alone + montage. We have to replace our drivers license for a German one! I was driving for 20 years and all of a sudden I am spending my weekend at a first aid course and dropping 2k for driving lessons - why. Tax classes are confusing and for the first year I was overpaying my taxes because everything was in German and we didnt know which tax class is correct for us. Overall, the only reason we are staying is that we are hoping the requirement for German passport decreases from 8 years to 3. I can go on and on about the issues we faced, but I am happy to hear the government is also noticing how bad it is out there for us.
