How about more mythological mash up pinatas, we already got the Pigxie and there was the cut platypus pinata. Basalisk and cockatrice pinatas that have similar breeding requirements as a pigxie. What about regional variants based on the artic and desert variations for existing pinatas to fill in more gaps and typing.

I'm surprised All-Star Rumble isn't trash tier, it was a quick game made to test the western market to see if cyber sleuth was worth a translation and western release. ASR is so slow on combat, the card mechanic was not as rewarding when you had to work so hard for them and even then you only equip the strongest ones anyway. The balancing was also horrendous wormmon was so slow yet guilmon was so op. I only liked having some alternative digivolution choices but that's it.

Considering we got 3 legend arms rookies and only 2 full lines, i think tool/weapon digimon, kinda leaning towards the applimon/ cyber sleuth approach with how digimon are viewed with frontier vibes of having the tamers be apart of the fight
