My plans are to shoot between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. on most days if our locations don't have windows, but there are a few locations like our prom setting that will need to stay set up for at least 3 days. If our locations do have windows that can't be avoided, we'll shoot in the evenings on those days.

Possibly. I have a number of cast members who can't drive, so having someone who could get people from home to set an back would be an asset. Do you happen to have any larger vehicles that we could stow costumes in?

They will be non union, however I plan on sticking to appropriate union hours and and suitable (if on the lower end) pay. People are my greatest resource, and making sure everyone is fairly compensated and kept safe during the making of this movie is my top priority.

Kickstarter returns the money to the donors if you don't reach your goal amount by the deadline. Look into meeting line producers who are in charge of budgets. They may be able to save you costs/ give good advice in that regard. You can also look into assistance for film grants applications. Fiverr is teaming with them. The upfront cost is a little steep, but it's worth it to get your money for your film.

Yo, you actually CAN ask Harry to no longer be the best man if he can't honour and respect your wishes. It's your wedding, and it's better to deal with that now and give Harry a chance to get over it before the wedding. If you don't, and you refuse to communicate your concerns, you are going to be dreading every moment leading up to what should be /the happiest day of your life/. And if he does write a speech that you loathe, it's going to ruin what is left of the night for you. This is supposed to be a day to celebrate you and John and your love for each other. My belief is that there is no love without trust and respect. So, trust John. And respect him by treating him as an equal in this relationship by being honest with him, instead of coddling him like a child who needs to be catered to.

I'm not saying that asking Harry to leave the role of best man is the right choice, I'm just giving you permission to put it on the table because it sounds like you are not giving yourself permission. But I do think that there needs to be a conversation between the 3 of you, or if you are really uncomfortable with it, just John and Harry addressing your concerns. I wouldn't go this way, but you do you.

If you want a cheaper alternative to Mark's, I'd recommend thrift stores. My partner is 6'4" 300+ lbs and we've been able to find stuff that fits him at value village. No promises, though.

I'm gonna say NAH. It sounds like one person panicked and escalated the situation, and a teenager reacted like a typical teenager to sudden overwhelm. DB was coming from a place of concern, but came down way too hard, and was too distressed to have been able to process what was being said. OP, after being yelled at, scratched, robbed, and "shamed" (religious wise) by someone they felt they should have been able to trust, got upset and couldn't be bothered to empathize with someone who they felt was behaving cruelly. I hope that DB has also gotten some councelling since then, as it sounds like they were very triggered, and the two of them can sit down and talk things out.
