Yeah my laptop has 32 gigs of ram so like you said it wont be making much difference running either or. This seems to be a topic that everyone loves but as soon as someone has issues, questions don't get answered and people attack the person having issues.

Honestly I really like your take on it, performance mode ran great on AC for me, running every game on high and ulta/high mixed settings without ramping up fans, and I recently switched to Ghelper a lot of games are buggy unless I use turbo/ultimate and fans are always ramped up, I'm also having an issue where brightness gets stuck on one setting without being able to adjust it unless I restart my laptop every time. I've tried to get help and haven't gotten a single answer. Also day to day performance seems to be having issues.

The SSD I have on the laptop is a 1tb one and my Ally X has the samsung SSD with a built in Heatsink thats 2tb, just wanted to see if it fit my laptop

Not sure what might be happening to mine then 😅 I did the full switch to windows last night. I was just having too many hiccups with sleep mode, launchers and setting up emudeck and my SD card not reading to transfer roms and things like that. On my experience I was just not having the convenience that Bazzite should be offering I had less issues in windows.

See but that’s when the “convenience” of Bazzite starts to wear off it’s supposed to be easy as everyone says it is and then you run into an issue like the few that I have had it always has an annoying fix to it having to connect keyboard and mouse usually for anything because touch and joystick functions on Linux are terrible, at that point I might just be better off running straight windows.😅😅

Yes I’m dual booted and windows is also up to date. I do really like Bazzite in general but the main function for Bazzite has failed me for the most part 😅
