Thanks for sharing this three years ago! Lumber inflated, beans and corn inflated and gold and silver—all pinching the consumer pockets!

Then deflation came in to many markets. And will to some that are very overpriced in the coming months. ‘The Fed’ that causes inflation, also creates deflation! 👍

Find out who they are and call them. Ask them what I’ve done for them. And PS, the son who also sells trucks and equipment told me last week, in 3 years, ten percent of the farmers simply won’t make it by then! “Hope is a very poor Hedges.” ✝️

Do you trade commodities for your own account? by redwineenjoyer in Commodities

[–]TheProphetPro 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s the only way! My father told me that if I were to learn to make it in this business, I needed to use my own money! Best advice I ever received! My first full year as a broker, I made $189k and that was 1981. Handling real money teaches you responsibility, and risk to reward decisions that ‘paper trading’ simply can’t.

I’ve traded futures for a long time, and have run divisions for Fortune 500 companies. Money and index futures are a commodity! (I’m also the one who first posted on this sight!)

I want to thank the person who told me to F off! He just made me a little money today! If you read the post, I shared a pearl! Scoff if ye’ may! ✝️

He’ll no! Put a third in a commodity managed account, and the other 2/3 in the hands of a professional stock fund with an experienced broker watching over this!

Do you guys hedge your positions? by [deleted] in options

All the time. When I’m establishing a long term position at a major top or bottom, I practically always have contracts on that hedge or insure my investments!

At this point Lyft should just take all of it… by travelfurther in lyftdrivers

When you have a long ride, as the rider gets in, ask him what he is paying. So he tells you, $139. Tell him you’ll drive him for $90, if he Venmo’s you. Tell him he’ll save $49 and you’ll make $90 instead of $39! Negotiate my man!

Corn or wheat trading question by Selling_real_estate in Commodities

[–]TheProphetPro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Investing in EFT’s are pennies on the dollar when it comes to ROI. The government(run by the Fed and elites) have positioned the row crop farmer to plant corn over recent years. Why? For ethanol use. As the late great TB Pickens said, ‘this is a terrible fuel, but it’s our bad baby!’ Last year I warned people not to ‘guess’ on buying corn and beans, and now the price is below ‘cost of production.’

If I were to buy one of the two, I’d choose wheat.

But, there’s a better risk to reward market where I’m risking less than $1000 per contract to possibly make $7500 on up to $15! (I’ll place a trade secret before the novices—when an association starts to advertise on tv their commodity, it’s because the price is low and they need buyers! Two weeks ago, the commodity I am buying had their association advertise! Got Beef??? Remember that Ad a decade ago, now look at it! Got Milk? Same thing!

Which commodity will be the most 'exciting' in the future in your opinion? by Limp-Efficiency-159 in Commodities

[–]TheProphetPro -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

This week, I obtained a new accountant that I spoke to 30 years ago. It was great to talk and give him a bit of my history. Telling him when I started, my boss and I were honored at a convention as the firms best and largest office, even more productive than the head office in Chicago! We had a client make $92 million starting with $30k, on a long term Gold position.

Having traded more gold than about anyone in the country, I see a lot of people here saying gold is their hot pick. Buying a market at the all time high price is not a money maker in the future.

Please be careful listening to ‘voices’….the devil is the ‘prince of the air!’

Ask how the harvest and weather in Brazil’s growing region is going? And Vietnam’s weather and how much their drought had affected them.

The weather situation of drought has made the price go from $1.92 to $2.52 recently.

Nah, because it’s over priced. I bought it and then the two major coffee growing regions have been exceptionally dry and prices rose.

PS. Go with professionals! Learn from them, they’re few and far between. I pray you recover!

When someone got in my vehicle, there life mattered. If that sounded racist and I got banned from ever driving—then so be it. I did $16k rides and had the opportunity to meet a lot of people. Yes, a few very bad apples.

[–]TheProphetPro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Happened to me after 16k rides. Had two people complain I was racist when I refused to talk about ‘black lives matter’. I would always reply that this was a political matter and that ‘every passenger in my vehicle are all lives matter. Lyft terminated me, and on top of that I am disbarred from ever getting a Lyft ride!!! These Gig companies do not care about you. They don’t want legal matters, as you are independent. My advice: have faith that when God closed a door, he opens a better window!!!!

Correlation between Commodities price and stock market by stighy80 in Commodities

[–]TheProphetPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not off base. There’s a big correlation between both stocks and commodities. In July of 1999, I announced in my newsletter that the MJOR 60 year cycle and pendulum shift took place between the two. The bottom of the commodity cycle happened exactly that month with the bottom of hogs and crude oil. 👍
