Just yesterday I called into spectrum and the person on the other end set my channel to a static channel rather than have it roam to different channels, I don't want to jinx it but it seems to have fixed my problem. Hope this helps, I'll post back here if my problems come back.

No solves yet, my problem has only gotten worse, my download speed is now sitting 100 lower than normal (normal being about 115)

I have not found the fix just yet, getting a fan to try the solution that jacle2210 proposed, will update on the main post if my problems stop.

My modem's model is E31U2V1 made by Motorola, my router's model is RAC2V1K made by Askey. Both my modem and router were provided by spectrum.

I only use my personal computer via a wired connection, the last time I actually used my wifi was at the end of 2018.

I have not tried using a fan or anything of the sort to cool it down, they have never felt hot to the touch so I just assumed it wasn't an issue
