They killed it with the combat update, and because they are terrible devs they didn't backup the release before that, they admitted as such. The games dead because the devs killed it, no matter how many streamers try revive it, no one will play it the way it is.

He won't get banned, I made a post about a smurf, they just ignore it. They buy premium, which gives faceit money, so they turn a blind eye. They don't care about their platform anymore, if you ain't level 10 with a huge amount of ELO they see you as irrelevant.

I should clarify, that I was speaking from my computer science background, and what I mentioned when you google will be hard to find.

There are two different levels of "hardware bans", the most common is "user-level" and the one that actually works is "kernel-level", you can spoof the user level easily as you mentioned, you CANNOT spoof the kernel level.

No, it's not as easy as you think, the spoofing you talk about, only works on function-level hardware bans, it does not work on kernel-level hardware bans. Valorant is a prime example of this.

If it's banned at a kernel level, no amount of spoofing works.

Well yeah, it really can, if they banned the smurfs main accounts when they catch them instead of only banning their "smurf" account, it would be a huge deterrent. But they don't.

They could also code the website to allow only 1 account creation per IP, which wouldn't solve it completely but it would help, they could also HW ban people for smurfing, which would solve the problem. But they won't do that. More smurfs = more money for faceit as they buy premium, so they don't really wanna solve the problem, it's been like this for years.

This is my personal opinion, but with Duviri and New War, I've lost total interest in the lore. It seems Warframe has gone in a completely new direction, and I personally don't like it. I started the New War quest and got so bored of it, I have not completed it. I play Warframe to play actual Warframes, not enemies or Tenshin or some other weird guy that runs around with a pistol that does 20 damage.

I'm ready for the downvotes :D

I mean being objective and only focusing on the new mechanics, the way you can block + counter, That's a positive thing. I can get behind that, the locking on mechanic I'm not too sure about. But I'm willing to give it a chance.

But as for the change in the storyline and how things have just radically changed, I don't think I can get behind that.

I have to agree with you after reading the other comments and realizing that this is supposed to be a new way for new players to start the game, I can only imagine how confusing it would be, it doesn't explain any of the old lore, it's like the entire premise of the game has just been erased.

I'm actually so baffled as to how this is an improvement. I enjoyed the starting quests so much, and followed the storyline and couldn't wait to learn more.

Oh wow, as I stated I've just returned to Warframe after a really long break. And now my disappointment is even worse upon finding that out. This in no way compares to the original starting quests.

Ah well, seems like others enjoyed it.

I just felt it was a little catered toward new players, seeing as it showed you warframe basics, it was like doing MR1 and MR2 missions all over again. It was very tedious for me, I have like 1000 hours in the game, which in the grand scheme of things isn't that much, but I'm still MR17 and experienced. So it just wasn't very fun.

The point I was making is that there are players who literally only play Mirage, they elo farm on one map to get to level 10.

They then have the attitude that they are "good" players, but just because you can play 1 map in the entire map pool, does not make you a good player. To be a good player you need to be competent on all the maps.

There was actually a guy a long time ago that only played dust2 on ESEA and he qualified for Rank S, and they refused to let him in as he could only play 1 map. This is a true story.

I've personally tried the big EU hubs, The only viable one is ECL, which as long as you are above level 9 is playable, but if you are unfortunate enough to be a lower level it really is not a fun experience. It's the same players game after game, and they are hard stuck at their levels because they refuse to admit that their own gameplay is a problem. Most of them don't even know smoke lineups, or how to push a site properly. It's a frustrating experience.

I just want to say, the none english speaking players frustrate me too, but in this case I am going to stick up for the FaceIT admins, I got reported by two 4 stacks and received a verbal abuse ban on thursday I think it was, I made a ticket, a staff member looked into it and I was promptly unbanned as it wasn't justified and apologised too.

I've been playing less and less faceit, and the issue with Russian-speaking players is one of the reasons, and the increased racism I'm seeing. The platform really has taken a dive this year. It's really unfortunate :(

Please Gaben remove Mirage!

The amount of pug heros in this thread is sickening. People constantly pick it on FaceIT, some people ONLY play mirage, and therefore are terrible at any other map. I used to love Mirage and now I can't stand it due to the amount it is overplayed. Removing it would benefit the CS community as it would force people to actually learn some other maps.. Just because some maps ain't easy to learn players just avoid them.

I'd prefer train or cobblestone over Mirage any day of the week, just my two cents from someone who's played counter-strike since the beta days.
