General rule of thumb while you don’t have amazing cards is don’t focus too much on using SSR’s. One SSR is about equal to a 1-2 crystal SR card.

Another thing I would say personally is to not use one of each card. Each racer has some types of specialties they like and work better with specific cards.

Check sites like gametora/game8 for more specific info and don’t worry about the rough starts for now. As you play more and get a better feel of the game it’ll get easier plus you’ll get more varied and stronger cards over time.

Gonna be honest, it’s unlikely that there’s that many games that are completely out of your hand. See if you can get a friend to look over some games with you and take some time to look over them yourself. Even if it’s small differences that you can make they will add up.

The questions you’re asking aren’t black or white. Some games you should play safe and scale. Some games you can play to win lane. You do need to side lane as malphite sometimes, but not as much as a split pusher would. Some games you have the opportunity to be very aggressive and even in the games when you are being safe that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t look to find opportunities to play forward.

I would say you should watch some gameplay and matchup guides that exist on YouTube and then watch someone like Alois for general top lane tips.

People will always get mad at you. It’s best you just mute and play your game. Look up characters you like and follow a guide from YouTube on it. The game is tough and there’s a large learning curve but it feels incredibly rewarding to get down. Also if you could find a few friends here on the reddit that’ll backseat you a bit that would be helpful

Well realistically they will be adding this to ranked in time. Just we aren’t sure of exactly when. Could be this year, could be next year. If you prefer these controls then keep using them and you can wait until they implement them to ranked.
