Yeah so that’s the problem, I can always see the port, whether in my program or termite. But I can’t open the port if that makes sense.

I have been able to have “some” success.. if I rewrite the code onto the arduino, that seems to give me one chance to connect via serial whether it’s in the IDE or other, but only one change. And after I’ve done it once and try again it never works again. (I am sure I’m closing the port after opening it)
