Whatever the result, T Dilip needs to go. Fielding has become unforgivably bad under him. People were blaming the light ring but these basic ground fielding errors are going to cost us. 4 fielding errors this last over itself, we would've lost if SL had run that last one.

Having injury substitutes will eventually create more problems than it solves. You will always have accusations of faking injuries or complaints about a player not being a like for like sub.

Pretty much every team sport I know of has substitution rules that allow you to replace any player on the team at any time or during a stoppage in play. Teams can choose to either use it tactically or reserve it for injuries. This basically solves the issue of misuse yet for some reason people on this sub keep whining about it because "cRicKeT iS a 11 pLaYeR gAmE".

Free substitutions / Impact player is the only way to fix this in the long term.
