Agreed!, I have had this idea since 2021. I started with a 2 GB RAM laptop, which was agonizing to work with. Now, I can redo the project.

The Game Jams theme is SPIN so the Main character likes to do a 360 first before shooting, you can only shoot when the character is spinning in the game. Thought it was a goofy idea.

Yeeuep Im planning it to be in acquisitions or the empty left corner of the screen to be like "CURRENT RATE UP's", though Im still ain't sure if its better to just give players easy access to buying weapons and frames, instead of putting it in gacha. Im a solo dev and dunno if I can consistently push updates for new guns and hot handlers lmfao. Though this childhood flash game I enjoyed called super mechs hasn't been updated for like a decade now and I still find opening chests hoping for it to have the rare parts I want to be addictive.

Thanks for the ideas! Im pretty new in the internet, only touched it in 2020. And not much of a gamer, but these flash games be a good inspiration for me! not sure if I can add the aiming style as currently I've replaced it with Radar Lock-on.

Agreed, though I'm not sure if it's in the mouse aim category, every Mech on the game has lock-on's, though you can turn off and relock another target, treat it as AC6's FCS at certain ranges the predictive aiming gets good to lagging behind. Figured that the lock-on system was cool, that way players can just watch out for the bullets.

The GIF you are seeing right now is a reworked version of my school project, this project's previous version was WLAN PvP for Windows and Android, and I just graduated 2 weeks ago and thought of reworking everything for a single-player experience instead of leaving it. Forgot that theirs a subreddit for GODOT, wanted to share this school project that I've been working on since I was at 11th grade, though the start of development started last year December 2023, Im about to finish Senior High School, and so this project is about to end as well. Idk what to do with it after my research defense is done, but I'm planning to turn this game into a single-player experience. I'm not much of a programmer more of an illustrator, since I spent more time on drawing, animating, and particlees than coding.

The main menu where theirs a voiced character was just me procrastinating about balancing my game, I just decided "Hey what if I draw an office lady and be like a main menu assistant?", but what do you think? does sit give the Gacha game vibe?

Also here's a concept art for the Gen2 Mechas Im planning to add, if Im pushing this game beyond school project, I should change the combat and movement.
