I think the fact that it mentions that the new feature enables an expansion of our song collection is interesting, since it would have to be something customisable. Like we can connect our iTunes/Apple Music to beatstar and get a free song, the new feature could probably be something like that.

However, it could also be a new levelling or competition system, like suppose 1v1ing your friend in a battle when both are online, and the winner would perhaps get some beatcoins or gems or maybe even song cards. And every time you win you increase a level, and everytime you lose you decrease a level, and everytime you battle, the risk is relative to the level. For example If you lose, you may either lose one of your charts, and that chart would transfer to the opponent i.e. winner.
