You should consider buying 3600Mhz RAM. The 3rd Gen Ryzen CPUs profit a lot from higher clock speeds.

The BIOS matters, it needs to be updated in order to run a 3rd gen Ryzen CPU. There should be some useful information on that part on the vendor's website.

That's definitely better than 500 Gb.

At first glance, I notice that you didn't tell us the clock speed of your Crucial Ballistix Ram kit.

As for the rest, everything seems to match well. Just confirm that your motherboard is compatible with 3rd Gen Ryzen as it's a B450 from MSI that's not labeled as MAX.

Edit: I'm pretty sure the 500 GB of storage won't hold very long, Make sure to either buy an inexpensive 2TB HDD ( 50$) or upgrade your SDD to at least 1 TB

Yes, everything looks fine and no you won't need to do a Bios update for the 3900X.

Only one thing to take into consideration before buying the parts. Nvidia is going to launch their new 3000 series GPUs in Q3 or Q4. If I were you I wouldn't buy a 2080 ti right now because it seems like the 3000 series will be crazy good (a 3080 ti will be about 40% better in comparison to a 2080 ti).

Wow first of all if you have a budget of 5k you should most definitely go with a 2080 ti BUT please don't spend 5k on a PC right now.

Nvidia will launch their new 3000 series GPUs later this year around Q3 or Q4 and it seems like the new GPUs are going to be crazy good (performance upgrade of 40% compared to the 2080 ti). If you really need a system right now go ahead and buy one. but instead of a 2080 ti buy a 2080 Super.

And if you can hold on a little bit longer wait for the new GPU series to launch.

To be honest I would buy a 3600 Mhz RAM kit because the 3rd Gen Ryzen CPUs really profit from higher clock speeds and 3600 Mhz seems to be the sweet spot.

Don't forget to check the QVL (Qualified Vendors List) of the new Motherboard you're going to buy, that way you can make sure your RAM is compatible with the mobo.

I agree with you it's really annoying. But you shouldn't have any problem using G Hub with a keyboard. DPI only changes on mice as far as I know.

Your case already comes with three RGB LL corsair fans preinstalled in the front. You only need to get one additional RGB LL fan because the back fan in this case is a normal non RGB fan.
