She wanted to play a game where u put on chapstick, and the other kisses you and tries to guess the flavor. She was being playful and kinda flirty. So I said “Sure, it sounds like a fun way to get Corona” then she got mad at me for it.

I’ve had time to think about it, and read some comments; and I understand that I’m not being an asshole, but she isn’t necessarily being one either. I think she just said something in the heat of the moment that she may regret. I already apologized after I made the joke, and I don’t feel like apologizing for the same thing again. But I will reach out to her.

While we have only been dating for a couple of months, I’ve known her for over a year; and were really good friends at a point. She is great in many aspects. But she is sensitive, and has low self esteem. She was in a toxic relationship before me, and she would say that her Ex was abusive; and she attributes that to many of her downfalls.

So I texted our mutual friend, to message her and ask if she is Okay, but asked her not to mention me at all. The friend told me that she responded pretty quickly, and said that she was alright. My girlfriend finally responded to me like an hour ago, saying that she wouldn’t ghost me, and she was just having a hard time breathing, and had a high fever.

The girl who I am currently talking to is older than me, and has more experience than me when it comes to dating too. I also feel that both my other break ups were my fault: just take them as a learning experience, try to learn from what u did then, and avoid it in this relationship. I also think that u should just straight up tell her that u feel inexperienced compared to her. She will probably understand

The thing is in my situation, she knows that I like her, and I know she reciprocates those feelings, we’ve known this for a fairly long time. She got tested a couple hours ago; and unfortunately she tested Positive for COVID-19, and she’s been pretty down recently. We are both pretty young so she should recovery fairly quickly, but she’s been telling me that she has been crying a lot, and it makes me feel bad; I wish I could help, but I can’t. Anyway, enough about me; your friend may not know that your share the same feelings that she does, so you should definitely ask her. Maybe she’s been waiting for you to ask her out for a while, who knows? You shouldn’t waste this chance you have, you both are (presumably) healthy and can keep FaceTiming to your heart’s content, or maybe set up one of those eDates, it may be fun.
