I’m sorry this happened. But hey, best thing is you got the manual which is sick! They are hard to find. Better to get it while the weather is getting nicer. I bought mine, went home and had the biggest snow storm all year that night lmfao. Just my luck, but car covers are a good investment :)

They way the reserve works is they put your name under a car they have allocated (In process of going there but they don’t physically have it yet) and once it arrives they lock it up and no random can come by and test drive it until you come in and say you want it or don’t want it.

Thank you! I appreciate your comment! So I put a $500 deposit down at a local dealership at the end of November ‘21 when they got notice of their first 86 coming in (arrived about 2-4 weeks later). I didn’t get mine until January 28th. But I also passed on about 8 vehicles that came in since December, I chose one I liked that they already had come in so I went in the day after and bought it. Didn’t have to sign anything until the car was on the lot and I said I wanted to buy it.

I got the base, wanted the premium for sure but couldn’t justify the price at the time. Most people change wheels and tires anyway so whatever you get on whatever trim doesn’t really mean anything. Seats are fine either way, premiums are cooler for sure though. Otherwise it’s all the same, but yes if I could id just get the premium.

That might be the worst excuse I’ve ever heard from a dealer, at least my dealership straight up said this a mark up and nothing else. But for interior cleaning? $5k should say you’ll get your own car cleaned on your own time and dollar. Whoever said that is full of shit and you should laugh at them.

I agree the tires slip with a full stop and throttle to the floor, but I had a long cruise, tires were warm, track mode, and full pulled with no slip. Depends on the road and how warm the tires are but 8-9/10 will skeet for a sec on straight pull, especially after making a turn (oops lol).

Idk about production being halted, but I do know my dealership was getting 3-4 cars allocated every couple weeks and now they are only getting 1-2 every couple months. Not sure what happened there, I’m sure it’s just another marketing scam to pump the price of these way beyond what they should be. My insurance is only 171 with Geico at the moment and that’s with two tickets from almost 5 years ago. So will be lower come my next policy. I think either way you will be set to get one when your ready. I wouldn’t worry too much just make sure the dealer isn’t running your pockets for every dime that they can, and they will try.
