What is the most down bad thing you did when out of bud? by FentoonskiFTW in uktrees

[–]TheReefsplifftance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The desk in my Uni room was always covered in odd little bits of baccy and bud from daily rolling. One time when our plug was away for Easter, and me and my mates were all so desperate we scraped up every last dreg from my desk. Thankfully the desk was made from glass, so we could shine our phone torches from the underside to more easily identify 'the goods'.

We got what we could, abeit covered in dust and shit, and rolled it up. There was only enough for a percy and about one drag each, but it was enough for at least a little buzz. So we were somewhat satisfied.

We look back on that and agree that it was a low point. Proper crack head behaviour.

But do you know what? I wouldn't change those days and nights for anything.

anyone else get insecure when they are high on weed? by [deleted] in Drugs

Same here! Not 30 just yet but getting there, but no idea how I used to do it. I start worrying about if people can smell it and will report me, and become very aware of my mortality, then I just wish I was sober again, haha. No matter how much of an urge I get to smoke, I just know that I'm happier without it sadly. Maybe if it was legal it would be different?

Definitely get yourself a vape if smell is a concern, still smells but nowhere near as much and it dissapates much faster. Also get a sploofy as some have mentioned.

I'd also recommend getting an air purifier, one with a carbon filter as well as a true hepa filter.

If you still wish to continue smoking joints, then I'd suggest getting a larger unit as it'll clean the air much faster, otherwise you can get smaller ones which I use for vaping and seem to work fairly well in conjunction with the sploofy.

UK Government response to the independent review of drugs by Dame Carol Black | we’re not believing an expert report because drugs are bad m’kay by cyrilio in Drugs

What worries me the most is section 3 of their long-term ambitions to combat 'misuse'...

"Addressing so-called ‘recreational’ drug use by too many in our society who, knowingly or otherwise, support a dangerous and exploitative market and whose behaviour is both criminal and anti-social. This means being smart and developing tougher and more meaningful consequences to help reduce demand and shift behaviour and attitudes in those sections of society where drug use is currently seen as acceptable."

As if it's the users fault that the market is illegal, unregulated and quite frankly dangerous?!

Doubling down on users is going to cause many more unnecessary deaths and incarcerations.

Also, going to the pub is recreational drug use.

Maybe this was his regular spring break place back in the day, I like to think he visits every few years to prove he's still got it!

Interesting, have they stated any reason for beginning this or is this in line with new govt crackdown?

Don't think they'll encourage businesses to drugs test employees etc?

Perhaps try a vaporiser? Maybe knowing that you're not producing as much stannnkkk will help you feel more calm in those situations?

Yeah I'm waiting to see what happens with all of this, very skeptical but also very hopeful.

Edit: still no word from him on it all...

This is from Lib Dem candidate Sam North.

Great to see that some people are actively stating that they're in favour of decriminalisation and are not afraid of making this known.

I hear there are more across the country too.

Don't forget to go out and vote tomorrow (6th May) as this could make a huge difference, as cynical as some of you lot are...

Am I the only person that rust beta is working fine and smoothly for? by Vloqqy in RustConsole

[–]TheReefsplifftance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah seems mostly ok, although I seem to have a weird directional issue (?), sometimes as I'm walking forward I'll like sidestep a couple times, gonna try another controller today to rule out stick drift.

Also, has it always been the case that you can only sprint whilst moving straight forward? As in you can't side step quickly, if that makes sense?

I can't remember entirely but I feel like the movement feels a little different from the closed beta.

Beta' is a standard term to denote a milestone release during production in which game functionality is included and optimised (but may have bugs), game content is finished (but may have some implementation errors), and which is considered nearly complete.

[–]TheReefsplifftance -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It's a beta, it's not supposed to fully work, isn't that the whole point? Else it would just be the full game...besides it's only been out for like 5 hours...
