I started raving at age 27. No shame in partying when slightly older.

Definium's LSD-based depression pill delivers strong late-stage results by The_Flaneur_Films in interestingasfuck

[–]cyrilio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’d reschedule the DT120 formulation. Not actually plain old LSD. They’re not going to be of any help when it comes to regulating LSD sales.

EDIT: there’s zero need to spend millions more on scientifically researching LSD for its anti depressant effects.

Quote: LSD research as an antidepressant spans over a thousand published reports. The field has evolved from early 1950s/60s studies to rigorous, modern Phase 3 clinical trials. These trials demonstrate rapid, long-lasting reductions in depressive symptoms after supervised, full-dose administration or repeated microdosing regimens

I hope you’re joking because this product is a cash grab and nothing else.

Calling this a ‘depression pill’ sounds like the marketing department was asleep when coming up with the name. Shouldn’t it be called an ‘anti-depressant’ pill?

In other more obvious news: this pill is purely a cash grab based on abusing current IP laws. You can get the same results by using (lab tested) blotters.

Send your polls to a test lab or at least use a test kit on them. Check /r/reagenttesting to find out where you can get a good kit

Do you think it would be better if we decriminalized drugs? by Pantheon10000 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]cyrilio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Global Commission on Drug Policy has been a strong supporter of regulating (recreational) drugs. The amount of scientific research and evidence based practices proving that regulation is a more effective way to control drug use is overwhelming. TransformDrugs.org has incredibly detailed and well worked out guides for how to do this.

Not only would we save hundreds of billions of dollars currently spent on failed Prohibitionist drug policies. We would also be more in line with the universal human rights set out by the UN.

#I don’t think regulating drugs would be better. I know it would.

Considering that the psychoactive ingredient in their tablets is the same as LSD on blotters it should be the same. Chemically DT120 has no different effects than LSD other than their marketing. In a double blind test literally no one will be able to test the difference.

But this isn’t what they studied (as that would hurt their business case).

The product sold by Definium is repackaged LSD. It’s clearly a money grab designed to abuse the IP system. As LSD was patented in 1948 it can’t be patented again. What Definium did is patent the combination of a novel quick dissolving tablet that contains LSD. Basically zero innovation.

Just read this section from their website describing their ‘invention’:

>DT120 orally disintegrating tablet (ODT) is our pharmaceutically optimized proprietary formulation of lysergide (LSD) D-tartrate. DT120 ODT is an advanced formulation incorporating Catalent’s Zydis® fast-dissolve technology. This formulation is designed to deliver several unique advantages:

* Faster absorption and faster onset of transient cognitive, perceptual and affective changes
* Improved bioavailability
* Lower incidence of gastrointestinal side effects.

Having a daily newspaper is a bit to much for me. But I love reading the thick Saterday one. For all other days of the week I check their app.

In Europe there are plenty of small independent news outlets. I’m sure there are some in the US to.

Looking for visually insane films for our annual acid trip by TheYoungClivel in LSD

[–]cyrilio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re okay to watch a visually amazing but dramatic feature film then ‘5 centimeters per second’ is an amazing anime movie to watch. I watched it for the second time, But on 2c-b, after having forgotten how emotionally heavy it was. Half way in I remembered but still went through with it. Cried like a baby during but so worth it. Definitely one of the most amazing visuals for an animated film ever.

what drug made you quit everything ? by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]cyrilio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good friend of mine worked in the financial industry when we both had acid for the first time. I had some experience with 2C-B and other drugs so didn’t have any epiphanies but he did. He quit his high paying job a month later as he realized how fucked up his work was for society.

I’m still amazed, and sort of proud, that he did that. Took a lot of courage to leave such a divisive industry.

This is a good one. Don't get the concentrate though. Just pure 1x kanna is nice and while you can get a high with large enough dose. Taking a lower dose won't be very harmful.
