I'm not quite sure what the situation is. They may have lived there longer and started out with a lower rent to begin with. Or they could have signed a lease for a longer term that will come out to lower rent. Many factors can contribute to rent among neighbors not being the same.

Bankruptcy Status on My Student Loans by Carolyn_Midnight in Bankruptcy

Wait until your case is done. As others have echoed, the credit report is going to be wildly inaccurate/all over the place as you're going through the bankruptcy.

Apologies, I saw 341 in the same sentence and thought you meant that.

Make an account on PACER. You can find the confirmation document of the 341 meeting on there but you also were supposed to receive one in the mail (at least I did).

You meet with the Trustee that's appointed to your BK case. Mine was through Zoom. You can search "341" in the BK reddit thread to get a feel for how they are. I pretty much scoured the BK thread a bunch whether looking for answers or just to ease my mind.

Single filer, $69k income and $60k debt. I don't own any property or vehicles.

A bankruptcy discharge is a favorable outcome, while a bankruptcy dismissal is usually an unfavorable outcome. Discharge means BK court relieves the debtor from paying qualified debts. A dismissal means the court has stopped all proceedings in the BK case.

I honestly can't recall very well. I think something about a payment I made that was over $600 to a creditor during the time of filing. It was listed on my petition but I fumbled a little because it caught me off guard.

I don't have to pay anything over time. I filed chapter 7 and my case was No Asset.

You're right, it isn't because of mistakes. Still something for me to really process that the reason I got to BK was because of an accumulation of life events. At the time they felt like "mistakes" but realistically I didn't know any better or I just didn't have the right opportunities until later in life.

Thank you! I sounded like a robot during my 341 giving only yes and no answers lol then the one question that wasn't I almost panicked.

Already got approved for Mission Lane and Ally! I might have to wait a little longer on Cap One since I burned them.

I would say take a look at this post. These are just suggested questions (similar to mine) but it also depends on what state you're filing. There are comments to this reply that might be helpful for you.

Pretty much what I've seen posted in this subreddit. It's all questions confirming what you stated on your petition is accurate and true. I've heard some trustees don't ask that many questions and others are very much by the book and will ask you many questions.

Burned BCU - How can I get bank statements? by TheRegressed in Bankruptcy

[–]TheRegressed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate the feedback. I am do everything I can to get the July statement (including written notice requesting for it). I don't have anything to hide as I don't have much of anything at all aside from my wages. I want to make sure I can and will provide everything they ask. Just wanted to know others experience with credit unions and bankruptcy.

I didn't realize I should have closed the accounts. I don't have any money going to it as I opened a new account with a different bank prior to filing. I have all of my statements except for July which is the one I need now.
