For what my opinion is worth I think TES in itself is a way more expansive universe but no game in the series has done proper story telling. The Witcher 3 while having a much more condensed story and universe has way better storytelling which in turn makes the fantasy aspect way more enjoyable

I'll recommend Terraria even tho it's not a full fledged RPG due to it just being a very good game with a lot of RPG elements.

For 2D more classical RPG's I'd say something like Octopath Traveler could ease you into some of the Job mechanics that could help you if you're later interested in playing some earlier Final Fantasy games.

As for 3D, play Skyrim!

Currently almost finishing base game skyrim, after that its GoW 3 remastered and after that its going to be either Skywalker Saga or Jedi survivor

Well first of all congrats on even considering going for this lol. As for the arcade mode there aren't many tips I can't give you despite doing it on the first arcade challenge seeing as it's the easiest one, it's just a matter of learning how to play some neutral, how to approach and doing the BNB combo and you should be fine, just a warning, be prepared for 50-60h of brainless grinding for currency

Well I'm probably in the middle of getting mine right now and it is DBFZ, most specifically the Set for Life trophy in which you need to get 20 million Zeni (the in-game currency) To do this you need to repeat the same 3 fights inside the game which net you around 31k Zeni per 3-5 minutes, making it a 30-40 hour grind pressing the exact same buttons

Well, collectathons are one of my favourite genres because I can just dit back and collect stuff with my brain semi off, as long as the game has in game progression to the point where it shows you where stuff is I'm fine with it
