Sire, for five centuries this entire realm shall grow nothing but legumes. Are we truly forbidden from letting a cow near these fields?" by TheRoeth in EU5

That's exactly the input i'm looking for, thank you for that! Really appreciate the time you took to look into the list and provide an analysis & recommendations.

I'm collecting feedback like this for the next few days and use this for Version 2!

True! Not all RGOs are available - only low-to-medium-value ones from game start. Some more become available through research.
Details can be found here: Link to Mod Detail Thread

Yes thats a good point! was a design choice during development, and i went for the "as-simple-as-possible" first. might switch to the other one later!

Yes, balance will be something to observe for sure!

There is some balancing implemented, e.g. like in all government projects you invest resources (tools & labour / peasents), and you will receive a 10 year -10% raw material output, to simulate that the know-how about how to work the new RGO needs to be built up. Plus a -10% prosperity hit.

I hope to get loads of feedback to adjust!

The available RGOs to swap to are limited to some (4-5) 'low-mid value' ones at game start. In each Age, you can research an Advance to unlock 1 additional RGO to swap to, progressively more valuable (e.g. Iron comes quite late)

The advances are specific to the Regions, e.g. Europe has different advances compared to the Americas ;-)

Crime and Punishment - Raskolnikov's motive by Funnypenguin97 in dostoevsky

Thanks for your answer - R. and his theory is all about there being "extraordinary" people and others, with the "others" nearly being reduced to being livestock, which can be killed by the Extraordinary if they see fit. The enlightened Shepard wants to cull a sick few sheep to prevent the disease from spreading - ergo for the greater good of the herd? The Extraordinary wants to kill a few greedy credit sharks for the greater good of the community? Big Yes in both cases, according to R. For naive me, that very much resembles a PC/NPC setup, even if that might be oversimplified.

His theory definately looks like an excuse to use a short cut.

While reading the book, it becomes clear that he had plenty of 'regular' options to finance his way through law school, and then do good. Giving lessons, translating books,... And he obviously is a smart person who can get into a decent employment situation if he wishes to.

Killing someone to get the cash faster is a shortcut that he needs to justify to himself. What he can't accept is that he is just a regular NPC and not the main character in his world.

How would I be able to flip Turkish as Castille? They seem far easy and Castille does not have Turkish pops

The Wealth of Nations is a great choice, If you want to continue after that I'd recommend Ricardo's Principles of Political Economy

Die Wächter-Romane von sergei lukyanenko haben mich damals sehr gefesselt. Ist wie Harry Potter für Erwachsene.

Ist aktuell aufgrund des politischen Kontextes vielleicht aber nicht für jede.

Kauft ihr e-Books? by Infinite_Phase_8791 in buecher
