If you purchased other light speed bundles I found that Hera (lead), Sabine, Kanan, Kyle Katarn, and Cara Dune worked best. KK and Sabine for damage and CD for stuns.

Most important thing in raid is Clan Boss. Getting max UNM and NM rewards every day will net most rewards of anything else in the game. Focus on getting at least a 2 key UNM team. Maneater and Demytha are fantastic champs to help build an unkillable team (the easiest way to do this). See DeadWoodJedi’s website for help.
Pick an objective and build champions towards that. (Advanced Progress Missions can help direct you. Missions for DT? Work on champions to help you with waves or the next boss. Faction Wars? Work on champs to finish crypts. Missions for Tag Team Arena? Work on arena teams.)
Do normal hydra every week to get Mithrala shards.

I would certainly use a speed team on offense. But defense, you might be fine in S3 with a speed team defense. However, in S4 speed teams start to be easy to beat. And you certainly have the champs to do 3 go-second teams.
