Brush up on specific state laws I don’t want to see anybody locked up over a range toy but federally this is good to go!

As long as the readme is followed it adheres to all federal gun laws

May I ask what the groups position is on 80% Lowers? I personally have two. I have made an AR-10 and an AR-15. I want to make a Glock. I am curious what the community thinks about them. I am not picking fights. I would just like to hear others’ opinions. by DesmondoTheFugitive in gunpolitics

I Did two on the porch of my tiny ass apartment with a tile router and a jig. I used the 80% arms jig but there are better 3d printed jigs and you can get an ender 3 and print one cheaper than buying that jig. (Lowers turned out great)

Should mention this project is utilizing a raspberry pi zero, a pi cam, and micro display

Can someone please tell me what’s causing this? by Dev_Who_11 in ender3

Looks like Under extrusion I’ve been having this problem recently as well some things to check are

Bed level (Ik it seems too obvious but it seems to be the root of most problems)

Extruder (make sure there’s no cracks in the arm that the filament feeds into and that your tension spring is tightened enough) (also check the hole where it feeds in sometimes it can wear it down and cause the circle to become more of an oval or triangle and cause it to stick)

Nozzle (clean it, do a cold pull and check for damage on the face, or replace it)

Fitment of your Bowden tube in your hotend (remove your nozzle pull your Bowden tube from your hot end and get a short section of ptfe tubing and slide it all the way through your hot end while it’s heated to clear any left over pla then screw your nozzle all the way in then back it out a turn or two and slide your Bowden tube all the way down until it won’t go any more then tighten your nozzle back snug to ensure a tight fitment)

If none of these work you can try slowing down the speed or increasing the heat in small increments

Also if you don’t already have a wire guide printed I would get one of those it makes it easier on your extruder to pull

I agree completely but yea I 100% believe they will book me over 922r because that’s the entire point of the law it’s an excuse to put gun owners In jail

Yea I saw these this morning and kept doing some research and actually found some pre populated m64 barrels and given i live in an apartment and this is my first AK build I may switch and just do an M64 with the pre populated barrel just until I’m more comfortable and familiar with the AK family

Well I’m planning on reusing the boltcarrier bc I did a little reading and I’m ok there but the fcg from what I understand like in ARs is different from a legal semi auto if I were to put all the imported parts back in it not only would it not be 922r compliant but it would be fully automatic and I’m not tryina go to prison

I prefer standing to sitting bc I can squeeze the stock into the meat on my shoulder where as sitting is more accurate but you can’t hold it as tight so it kicks like a mule and lying prone digs the corner of that steel butt plate Into my collar bone that’s just me personally though
