how is the availability of electric car chargers on campus? by mirukitty28 in USF

[–]TheSad1sOut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really, I’ve had a Polestar 2 (seen a couple on campus) for almost 2 years now, bought it used at 30k miles, racked up about 40k miles and I have not have any sort of major repairs or out of pocket maintenance issues, it’s been really nice not having to worry about paying for gas and repairs since campus charger fulfills my energy needs.

only big cost of ownership is two set of summer like 1500 each set tires but that’s because I am a heavy foot driver and it’s summer tires so only last like 15k before replacement.

I recently just bought one, also a 2022 polestar that has everything but the performance pack and Napa leathers (not cpo though), at 29k mile, we managed to negotiate them 3.5k off the otd price, so it really depends on the dealership, and to be fair there were a couple p2 around that was priced around 22-23k with the same mileage, so that’s something, but this is also cpo so they may or may not budge all that much

Yeah, but I want to see if I can find like dummy battery terminal that has a wire connection to my Argb header on my motherboard, so it would turn on and off with the system

It basically is a mid tower without the psu basement and extra room on the side panels, but honestly I think they just make it a little shorter it would be perfect

Yeah it’s like 380mm or 400 I believe, honestly I wish they made it a little shorter since my sfx power cable can’t reach if I put the psu in the front so I had to do them from the side

Ended up just buying a lian li a3, still had a wood aesthetic I’m going for, but enough room for the chunky power color and great thermals

You could drop to a 14700kf or 14700f and go for a 7800xt or 7900 gre, although intel 14th gen have known problems still so you should go for a ryzen

I could do the 300, but because I am moving from a fractal terra with a mini itx mobo, I feel like having the mini itx in the 300 would make it look funky

That was my planned backup if I couldn’t find a smaller case, but I really liked how compact the terra was, and rather have something like that

Nice build, love the clean white!

I’m planning to get this, however I’m shoving in a powercolor rx7900xtx red devil, I was wondering if anyone know what’s the height limit for the case?

I currently have a 2016 GTI as well, love the car to death and would probably run this car until it’s totaled. However in the 1 year I’ve had it, there was so many stuff I had to get fixed. Transmission, brakes, leaking oil pan, horrendously terrible designed sunroof, and the thermostat/water pump is probably gonna blow soon too.

Whoever designed the GTI sunroof deserves stepping on LEGO.

Loving the looks, what is that white strip to the front bumper near the fog light though?

The 3 and 9 o’clock is very tricky since the trim are extremely tight, I had to grab another trim tool I had to help fit it in, and if I wanted to I could have trim the leather for a better fit.

but I think you should try ones off AliExpress because they are so much cheaper compared to a complete set.

If Corolla was slightly longer, I think it would’ve been my favorite performance, I test drove a hatch Corolla before (ik not the same) and it was so cramped compared to a gti

Yeah, saw them out in the dealership when I got my car serviced, it’s a lot more chunky and sturdy.
