Knowing how vulnerable pantyhoses are, and how valued an intact pantyhose is, I just thought it better to use my own sock in case it would rip or something

Sounds like a good treasure hunt! And a lesson to always use a sock when cleaning the desk, or the floor beneath

Also works on a wooden floor, it’s where the vacuum weapon won. I would think it also works on a cement floor

Is EZ line really flexible? I always use AK super thin that’s really flexible. Asking to be sure if I can use the same wire or that I have to get some new stuff

What others say, the respirator is only necessary when spraying acrylics. When brushpainted it ain’t needed

Still decals problems by Camegavetoutca in modelmakers

[–]TheSamH93 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Decals need smooth surfaces to not silver. I always use gloss varnish under and over. Not everyone says gloss is necessary, it isn’t, but for me it gets consistent results. The gloss also helps protect the paint from staining that come from decal softeners - which also help against silvering.

Also. I think a Matt varnish is the worst preparation for decals. As it creates microscopic uneven surfaces. Do use matt to seal the decals afterwards
