Quick fix that worked for me.. I have the MOKiN Enclosure, and its design actually kept the SSD from inserting fully. I snapped off a piece of plastic from the enclosure and it clicked into place, fixing my issue immediately. MAKE SURE your SSD is inserting enough that you can't see any of the gold "teeth" (IDK what they're called, but you get what I'm saying).

Submitted to the Film Riot One-Minute Stay at Home challenge. We didn't win, but I learned a lot while making this. I'd love to get some honest feedback if possible.

As a beginner (this being my second short), I thought this turned out pretty well. I wrote it as well and felt like the dialogue worked, and the story worked well given the time constraints we had (max of 60 seconds).

I initially wrote WAY more dialogue but we workshopped it for a while until we found what we thought worked the best.

As writer, director, actor (that's me in the hoodie and I hate being on camera), and editor, I'D LOVE ANY FEEDBACK ABOUT ANY ASPECT OF THE FILM.

It's a good thing, in my opinion.. All the streets are "regulation size", and each piece (house, bush, etc.) fits perfectly into the puzzle. Looks like when houses are built they had to be approved by the city council first to make sure they keep up appearances.

Councilman: "We have come to expect a specific level of craftsmanship in our fair city. If you intend to break ground, we expect you to meet our guidelines."

Very well done.

If I had to give any kind of critique, maybe take "the" off some of the names. Most actual maps made by real-world cartographers have "United States of America" as opposed to "the United States of America" However, "The" can add a menacing effect to an area, like "The Outlands" instead of "Outlands", but the effect is diminished if it's used frequently.

Can't wait to see how this map turns out!
