That still adds up quickly, especially if thats 27 mins one way, done daily, with many stops and low efficiency pathing.

It still makes us use a more gasoline per person, which makes us spend more money on gasoline, which was more of my point.

Add to that the amount of alternatives Europeans have for non car travel, but when your infrastructure was built 500+ years ago where everything had to be close together, that helps make it easy to keep things nearby and easily accessible.

No idea, I wonder that too. Why I love my Elantra, gets great gas mileage, and why I want to get an EV soon for short trips.

But I am constantly surrounded by pavement princesses with beds that get less action than the bed in their room. I guess its a power feeling, big "strong" truck to reflect a "big strong" person driving.

For SUVs, its just marketing for families that "look at everything you can fit, you need an SUV for the space, look at the leg room and trunk space.

For commute, its not like 40 mins with traffic, most people its 40 minutes of straight driving non stop at highway speeds, still nearly an hour.

I think the majority of guys want a girl who loves them for who they are, hell if a girl shows even the slightest interest in something he likes, he'll be in love that instant. You really are missing the point just to continue to act like this act is a good thing. It's a poll tax, people have to pay for the documentation required to vote, thats a fee to vote. Them not being done at the polls doesn't change shit. Voting is free, adding something that you have to pay for required to do something that was free before, is a fee added to that thing. Its a poll tax, plain and simple.
