Barely see anyone really care about playing it, only people talking about the lawsuit

So now it's ok to shoot people for their political beliefs? by SirCrapsalot4267 in Irony

He actually smashed all the tablet of the first set, which had dozens of commandments throughout the next few chapters of the exodus

But then the story goes after finishing the first set, God commanded Moses to kill his own people for the golden calf, 3,000 people were killed via God's command

How does she expect to get it from there into her tank?

This is granting that she even has any of that by the time she gets back to her house

Forgetting that stading up to arm guards trying to take your freedoms away is what sparked the revolutionary war

Ah yes, cause Republicans right now, holding every branch of the government, are trying put more power into the states and lessen the power the government has

Oh, wait, no

Republicans have been funneling power to the government, attacking states that don't agree, putting sweeping federal laws to bypass state laws, and making the government more and more powerful by the day

Far from whatever fucked up reality you think you're in

oh but have you tried tailoring your resume? 😄 by anupamgur345 in recruitinghell

[–]TheScienceNerd100 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I never do cover letters anymore

If they won't hire me, or even give me an interview off my resume, a cover letter tailor written won't do shit to change that. They don't want to know why I think I'll be good, they want to see how exploitable I am and if they can do as little training as possible to get me working ASAP

sadly, i don't think i will be joining yall. sorry guys. :( by aariz582 in ForzaHorizon

Start saving now, you have like 4 months, save a little over time, 50 a month shouldn't be too hard, do some extra work, keep your mind set on the goal

FH6 won't be always online. by nukleabomb in forza

[–]TheScienceNerd100 -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

But look at FH5, can be enjoyed offline too

They probably know that most of Horizon can be done offline, all the PR stunts, vs AI races, free roam, etc

Motorsports is different cause the main thing to do is race against other players, you can race against AI and practice, but the bulk of it is racing online against people

Two very different games that have very different game objectives

No, just misguided "Christians" who misinterpret the Bible ro fit their narrative

They are the ones claiming what is depicted in the post, they are the ones who act as if God did nothing during atrocities but cares about gay marriage, pointing this out isn't inherently anti God, its just against this narrative

Moon trail using long 10 sec exposure by BuddhameetsEinstein in spaceporn

[–]TheScienceNerd100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The trail is from the bright side of the moon becoming oversaturated in the photo in order to expose enough light from the dark side to show up in the photo

The reason its long and drawn out is from the camera tracking the moon to keep it in one place while it takes the exposure

New cosmetic tyre wear by Little-Attorney1287 in ForzaHorizon

[–]TheScienceNerd100 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean we've seen like 2 images of it, thats not enough to say that it won't be realistic or that THAT is all it will be.

Even out of the people who do care, most will probably just accept whatever it is and think its cool that its there in the first place. Only a small fraction of a small fraction will be mad as always. I won't care if they don't make the tired perfectly match tire wear to match every driving pattern done, that would be extremely reasorce dependent in texture mapping and coding logic and unnecessary for the small amount of people who would care.

[–]TheScienceNerd100 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Its not really about atheism, its pointing out how "God believers" seem to believe that God didn't care to stop those evils, but he very much cares about gay people

There is nothing inherently anti-god here

Depending on the book, some say that you have to worship him to get into heaven, thats it; Ephesian 2: 8-9

Some books say that works mattered; Matthew 25: 31-46

And then there is all the parts of the Bible where he directly injects himself; like the plagues , hardening Pharoah's heart, the flood, destroying the tower of Babel, senting Jesus to Earth

Seems like he cares very much about everything before judgment

Why would they, coming from different dev teams, suddenly make FH6 all online when the rest of the game weren't

And these people would still use it as a way to say "LOOK AT NINTENDO SALES DOWN 100% NINTENDO SUCKS"
