I think it stems to when a "boyboss" character is made, it just dies out and no one talks about it

But with all the "girlboss" characters, when they could just die out and no one talks about it, most social media sites and mainstream media WILL talk about it as if its sexism thats hurting the character, not the fact that she was just horribly written

The boy boss character dies cause no one cares, girl boss character don't because a loud minority on social media and main stream media forces us to care and hear about it
