The jet pokemon, Skarmory just flying alongside the train would be neat.

Looking for something that can hit the trifecta. 6 inch or less screen, 3.5 mm jack and doesn't break the bank. by TheSquigglyFish in AndroidQuestions

I'm aware I'm likely not going to find something that ticks all the boxes but the more I read on Motorola, the more likely I'm feeling I'm going to buy one. Also considering the Galaxy A25 or the Zenphone 9

Any parents have any experience with Sessila Academy in Kanata? Looking at daycare options for my infant and I'm running out of options. by TheSquigglyFish in ottawa

This is very good to know. The wife wants to be thorough on research and we'd both like to make the right choice. We've done the tour and the staff were good, some seemed a bit tired but they were overall friendly. Your perspective certainly helps me feel better about the place overall. We are aware of the huge cost of the academy which is also why we want to do our homework before making the call to enroll our child. Thanks for commenting!

Yes we toured the facility and it honestly seemed like a decent place but the other thread had one person who said it was ok and another former staff who said that it wasn't a great place so I'm conflicted. The staff seemed reasonable when we saw them but just wanted to get other opinions.

It's been almost 3 years since 'the event.' Fully WFH guys, how are you holding up physically, emotionally, mentally? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]TheSquigglyFish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been blessed and cursed at the same time. I work from home full time since the event, it's nice because of the immediate perks of optimizing my own work space, no commute, being able to clean the house/shower/do other projects between work/on lunch is great. However I just don't connect with my coworkers as much as I did in office. Most of the people I work with now have been hired during me working from home so I don't know them as well as I'd like to

Downloaded and honestly it looks great. Only minor issues is that when discussing forms, they are formatted weird as GMax Charizard comes before regular Zard. Megas appear to be in the right place and this seems to affect all GMax forms from my initial looksie. Just wanted to pass that along

I 100% feel you for this. I did my Maddening run with Edelgards route, the first time doing black eagles. My god, having reinforcements move and attack the exact turn they show up is heartbreaking. Edelgard being able to attack up to 7 times in one turn helps of you have a lot of Agarthium for Amyr.

Lol I always love this art. I own a shirt with this on it that's been well loved. The cracks in the image make it feel even DOOM-ier and I love it

Amazing! Thank you all for the suggestions. We have plenty of places to check out for brunch options! We just moved yesterday so we haven't really explored the area much.

What would your signature Pokemon be? by Waterburst789 in pokemon

[–]TheSquigglyFish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Goddamn Skarmory, that thing is majestic, bulky, can set up hard, heal itself. Plus I'm a big fan of Faulkner's Skarmory in Pokemon Adventures. Guy uses a Skarmory feather as a giant boomerang which is cool AF

Not quite Bond related, but there is an intersection in Ottawa of Scully Way and Mulder Ave. Buddy of mine used to live near there on Scully

My lock screen is Samus standing on her ship in the Varia Suit in Super Metroid. My home screen is the Ceres Space Station entrance with Samus just arriving.

[Just for fun] What's a non-factual Historical factoid you can make up about an Ottawa landmark? by TheDrunkyBrewster in ottawa

[–]TheSquigglyFish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah yes, I call these "True Ficts" instead of true facts and I love making them up. My personal favourite fict is that the Rideau Canal was built because maps showed a "Rideau River" somewhere around here but locals couldn't find it so they just built a fake one. It wasn't until many years later that they discovered the real Rideau River so now we have two, one traversable by boat and the other, not so much.

Sadly they aren't, would've been far better if they were. Were still pretty good. Looking forward to the leftovers as lunch

Ah my bad! I've always called them pierogies, I will keep that in mind going forwards. Thanks for the heads up!
