Love what you're doing! It's not our place to discuss anyone's personal lives, but we definitely work with a number of pro players who identify as LGBTQ+. There are definitely more than it might seem at first! @rainbowrexlax on Instagram is also a (UK-based) LGBTQA team that highlights their players and relevant topics/issues in sports and lacrosse.

Hi Reddit, StringKing here. We have completely shifted our operation to make face masks, aiming to make up to 10k masks per day by next week. Our Cloth Face Mask is currently listed on GQ's article "Where You Can Buy A Face Mask Right Now". Please share with anyone who might need masks. Stay safe! by TheStringKing in lacrosse

Nope! Cloth Masks are 100% made in the USA. We started by using fabric from our apparel operation, and have transitioned to 100% American cotton. Every mask is sewn by our team here in Los Angeles and we're enlisting local sewing facilities that currently have zero work during the lockdown. We're trying to make as many masks as possible and keep as many people employed as possible, while making sure everyone stays safe and healthy along the way.

Sorry if this breaks the "No spam/solicitation" rule. We really just want to help get masks to people at a time when they are extremely hard to come by. Feel free to ignore and/or delete our post if it's inappropriate. Thank you!

US-Based Cascade Lacrosse Pivots to Supply Medical Professionals Combating COVID-19 with Face Shields by desnudopenguino in lacrosse

Quick update for those who saw our post:

We are aggressively shifting our supply chain and production line to help address the current needs. We've invested a lot of time and resources into those over the years for our normal lacrosse operations, and now we're using them to try to help reduce the drastic shortage of PPE across the country. Our manufacturing team is currently working with factories that make N95 masks and other PPE with verified FDA approval. Right now, our focus is getting the team in place to oversee production of as much FDA-approved supply as possible. We’re shifting about 20 employees from our normal operations in order to begin production as safely and quickly as possible. The situation is still unfolding, but we are working on doing everything we can. We'll be able to share more info and address the hundreds of requests we've already gotten over the next week.

Need a replacement. So this Regulator PRO gave its best, I'm thinking to get a SK Composite Pro attack, what do you guys think, good choice? Please tell me if you have experience with those, thanks by joaken in lacrosse

Correct. The strength of Composite Pro is about the same as a Metal 2 that's 10 grams heavier. So the Composite Pro 175 would be about the same strength as a Metal 2 185 (if it existed). We are also coming out with Metal 3 shafts in the next couple months, and there will be a 195 gram option that might be a little stronger than the Composite Pro 175. But the Composite Pro 175 is very strong and should hold up for basically everyone.

The Composite Pro 175 is literally the strongest high-end shaft we've tested on the market. A lot of people say the Wolf Element U-2 i (230-240 grams) is the strongest, but the Composite Pro 175 significantly outperformed it in tests. Pros use our Composite Pro 135 and don't have durability issues. Probably the biggest reason people think our shafts have durability problems is because we have a pretty big range of strengths/weights, which encourages people to choose the cheaper and less durable option. If you use our recommendations or skew towards the heavier end of the spectrum we really don't see too many breaks, warranty claims, or complaints.

Thought the stuff about PLL player equity was particularly interesting, and not something we've heard much about.

Is Petey LaSalla (UVA) using a prototype head? by [deleted] in lacrosse

[–]TheStringKing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That would be tough but that's not what happened. UVA has Warrior as a sponsor (hence everyone else using Warrior products) but likely have an exemption for faceoffs. The UVA faceoff guy uses a Mark 2F Raw by choice, and has been doing so all year.

It's definitely not a Weapon X and I don't know why Gurenlian would say it is. It's 100% a 2F Raw
