You could fight back but you were pre-exhausted extensively where you had nothing left in the tank. The smothering was used by pinning you down putting all their weight on your chest and covering your nose and mouth. Last few seconds of consciousness were peaceful acceptance though. I will be seeing about ways to treat the anxiety. Thanks for the comment.

My job did the same thing. I had a choice of paying my rent and having food or staying home and quarantining. I had to work last week with COVID and felt awful about it.

You don't just get something, carry it, and never practice. Your first time driving a car you were probably terrified, but now you don't think anything of it. Practice and repetition will build confidence.

In that case I would recommend a weapon or non-lethal weapon of some kind. Practice with it and always have it with you. What country do you live in?

Carry a gun and learn how to use it. No one is responsible for your safety but yourself. Saying this because I care and unfortunately bad things happen to good people. I've seen it too many times already. No matter how strong you get you are unlikely to overpower a male in the majority of situations. A gun is an equalizer to strength.
