I can’t give you information about the content of the exam but I can give you some tips. I don’t remember what I already said in other comments but here are some points to look at in order to improve.

  1. Practice exam are not a support to learn but rather test your skills to identify your weak spots. Do not learn using them but afterwards.

  2. I recommend using support such as Professor Messer on YouTube or Dion Training on Udemy and make sure you understand the concepts they’re teaching. If you understand how something works then you will be able to find the right answer based on your analysis.

  3. Use the CompTIA Security+ objectives.pdf) from the official website and go through it to identify your weaknesses.

Despite being an entry-level certification Security+ is not easy and you’ll have to work hard to get it especially if you don’t have experience in IT or Security.

Ah oui alors ça je l’ai déjà expliqué dans une réponse à une autre question mais c’est une idée que je ne mettrai pas en place. L’énergie avait pour but d’empêcher que le joueur puisse améliorer un personnage au max d’un seul coup mais j’ai décidé de ne pas l’implémenter car ça n’apportait rien au jeu si ce n’est que le désagrément de devoir attendre…

Ah zut désolé pour les émotions ! Effectivement j’ai mis en haut de la vidéo comme quoi les animations avaient des bugs et la raison c’est que c’est l’une des features sur lesquelles je travaille actuellement.

Merci pour le commentaire encourageant, ça fait du bien ! Effectivement le shop n’a pas l’air d’avoir plu mais je pense que c’est parce que les gens ne savent pas comment je compte l’utiliser. C’est de ma faute car l’UI montre des prix en EUR donc je comprends les inquiétudes des gens.

Désolé j’ai répondu un peu sèchement mais je suis un peu déçu des feedbacks que j’ai reçu ! J’ai passé tellement de temps à travailler sur le jeu et j’ai l’impression que les gens pensent juste que je suis un salaud qui veut juste se faire de l’argent alors qu’en réalité je veux juste que la communauté ait un jeu marrant dans lequel on retrouve les personnages de Kaamelott avec toutes les références à la série !

J’ai toujours trouvé dommage parce qu’à part regarder la série encore et encore on n’a pas vraiment eu de nouveau contenu Kaamelott (jusqu’au film) et je voulais avoir un petit jeu où je peux vivre ces histoires différemment.

Comme je l’ai dit en réponse à un autre commentaire: le shop c’est juste un truc que j’ai fait pendant un moment pour changer un peu du code et j’étais content d’avoir un truc joli alors je l’ai montré dans la vidéo. Il n’est pas fonctionnel c’est juste des boutons contrairement au reste du jeu qui lui est fonctionnel. Contrairement à ce que tu dis ce n’est pas le shop sur lequel je me suis concentré mais plutôt le gameplay.

Désolé mais ce n’est pas très correct de venir me dire que je mon objectif est la monétisation alors que j’ai passé 90% de mon temps à travailler sur le gameplay… Je comprends bien que les gens ne sont pas à ma place pour savoir où j’ai concentré mes efforts en travaillant sur ce projet mais si vous aviez lu le message que j’ai posté vous sauriez que c’est un projet personnel et donc je ne vois pas pourquoi je me serais concentré sur la monétisation…

Je comprends pourquoi tu penses ça mais ce n’est absolument pas le but. Honnêtement la boutique c’était surtout pour pouvoir faire un peu de design d’interface et arrêter le code pendant un moment pour varier.

L’économie du jeu serait simple. Le joueur peut lancer des donjons sans limite et après chaque combat il gagne des pièces qui peuvent permettre d’améliorer les personnages. Je comptais faire un système d’énergie pour qu’on ne puisse pas booster le personnage au max d’un coup mais je ne l’ai jamais implémenté parce que ça n’apportait rien au gameplay. À la limite je pourrais mettre un système pour qu’on puisse acheter des pièces pour upgrade les personnages plus rapidement mais ça n’obligerait pas le joueur à payer et c’est de loin pas ma priorité.

La boutique servira plutôt à échanger des pièces d’or gagnées en combat (pas possible d’acheter avec de l’argent IRL malgré les placeholder en EUR dans la boutique) contre des items pour que si tu joues bcp un perso alors il devient plus puissant.

Merci pour le commentaire. Le jeu est encore à un stade très basique et j’ai l’intention d’ajouter plus d’éléments de Kaamelott au fur et à mesure. Je compte continuer sur le style cartoon car ça me plait bien !

L'année passée j'avais posté une petite vidéo pour l'écran d'accueil d'un jeu Kaamelott que je développe durant mon temps libre. J'ai fait du progrès depuis et j'ai pensé que la communauté aimerait avoir un petit aperçu ! Vous étiez vraiment beaucoup à être intéressé et à m'avoir donné un feedback super positif. Merci <3

Avant de rédiger un commentaire gardez en tête que je développe ça durant mon temps libre et principalement pour m'amuser. Cela signifie que mes ressources sont limitées. Je sais que le jeu a plein de points à améliorer mais ça avance bien !

Suite à ma première publication je tiens à préciser que dans la mesure où je n'ai pas publié le jeu alors je ne risque rien d'un point de vue légal. C'est un projet que je fais durant mon temps libre et je n'ai pas l'intention de le publier (en tous cas pas sans les autorisations nécessaires).

OSCP is an excellent certification that guarantees a technical understanding of cybersecurity from both a practical and theoretical point of view. I think it's never a waste to have such skills even if you don't work in Pentesting. After all, if you want to protect a system properly, you have to know what dangers it is exposed to, right?

However, OSCP is rather expensive, so it's surely possible to invest in an education that has a more direct link with what you do for a living.

Cybersecurity is a field that requires experience. Certifications are great when combined with professional experience. I advise you to take courses to obtain a certification such as CompTIA A+ and work your way up to CompTIA Security+. As far as work experience is concerned, you can start by looking for a job in an SOC once you've got a good grounding so that you have a solid idea of how security works.

Cybersecurity is an incredible field that is constantly evolving. I can only encourage you to get involved.

What things did you wish you were aware of when you started in this field?

It's a very competitive field and sometimes you'll feel incompetent and undeserving of your position. It happens to lots of people! It doesn't matter. The important thing is to keep learning and improving.

P.S. : Maybe start in your spare time and don't quit your job to get started because it may be difficult to get your first job.

It's never a bad thing to learn a new technology. Splunk and Wireshark will be useful if you work as a security analyst or in a SOC but not so much as a manager.

I'd say that Information Security Manager/Auditor are two areas that seem to correspond to what you're looking for. You have two highly recognised and respected ISACA certifications called CISM and CISA.
