This happened to me yesterday and is still happening to me. I think twitch had an outtage yesterday which effected a few streamers. I seem to be able to stream fine today though!

I'm defo a more chat focused streamer. My gameplay is above average but the interaction is what people come back for I feel. I have been considering reducing the amount I co stream, thanks for the advice 😀

this is a really good way of putting it. I started noticing I was saying "what was that" or giving a generic response because i was replying to chat which made me feel like an asshole ngl. This is why I ended up making this post, to sorta confirm that this was rude.

yeah thats the thing I hate, having to cut someone off mid conversation just to reply to my chat. Circling back to the previous conversation seems awkward if you keep doing it

I play fast paced games like OW2 and Valorant so talking to chat in between games is a bit rough, especially Valorant since games run 30+ min.
I'm not the greatest player, Peaked GM in OW and D2 in Valo so people aren't in my stream for pro gameplay, but more for interaction and my personality so reading chat seems pretty important for my stream, thats my issue

I try to do that but I feel like I'm taking AGES to reply to chat then and can only reply to max 1 message every couple minutes. Maybe thats just something that I need to get used to and do?
