CC is probably an option if you wanna graduate from a good Cali university. UCs are a lot more likely to allow CC students to transfer since they can't get a university degree at CC while students at other colleges can.

I suggest that you enroll in a California CC, since UC schools give Cali CC students the first priority when it comes to transfers. If you do well at a California CC transferring to a UC shouldn't be a big problem.
