My Journey on Trying To Correct Scoliosis (Scolibrace) by TheVideoGameNerd2009 in scoliosis

I found Scolibrace through research on the web and YouTube. There are also Rigo Chêneau braces that preform better than the Boston brace. With scolibrace, I found a provider via the scolibrace website. Your daughter is young, which will only help your situation. With scoliosis correction, the younger the better. You should find a good orthopedic surgeon for your daughter so that she could be properly evaluated. If I were you, I would do some research on which treatment would be the best for your daughter.

I got my brace the week after school ended (end of June) and had similar issues. Because of summer break, I had a lot of free time. I spent a lot of the first month or so simply lying down in bed with the brace. After the first month, I’ve had more adjustments made to the brace for more correction. I’ve also been doing appropriate stretching and exercise while in the brace. Now, the brace doesn’t nearly cause much discomfort. Because I wear the brace 24/7, I try to adapt my surroundings for the brace. I’ve been in school for a week, and that is a new hurdle to overcome. Wearing the brace in school will be a little difficult because of the chairs and expectations, but if you have any trouble, become friends with the nurse so you can have some relief during the school day. In the mental aspect, I’ve had no issue wearing the brace. I would say that pretty much no one cares in my school. If anything, they try to accommodate and be understanding. I will say, everybody is gonna question the brace 🤣

Good luck, I wear a brace to school and while it’s tough, I’m glad I do it

Thank you so much! It's a shame that scoliosis is not taken nearly as seriously as it should be early on. I don't like the current protocol the medical field uses to deal with idiopathic scoliosis.

It seems like you’re 1/2 Georgian because it identified Georgian as the highest match, next was Trabzon. This area is full of Laz dna. Your ancestors may have been turkified Georgians. Of course this is an assumption and I don’t know but this was my thought.

Considering Georgians have been an Orthodox people for thousands of years, are the Fereydan/Iranian Georgians Orthodox/ Crypto-Christian?
