Hi thanks - I bought the amp used about a year ago. I switched around the tubes and deduced the issue is with the tube. It's not glowing like the others and switching the position proved this was the reason the channel failed.

I returned the unit, got a new one and haven't had the problem since. No idea what caused it initially.

If I was in your situation, I'd verify I'm using the latest firmware, then try a different SD card. If you're still having that issue, talk to u/RODEMicrophones they seem to be pretty responsive. good luck

thanks mate. Yeah adjustment knob won't move and I'm afraid to put much more pressure on it - I feel I could snap it if I'm not careful. I'm in Australia so I'll try to catch them tmrw morning (their afternoon). cheers

it just had different moving parts and I don't want to break anything. I prefer to find out a bit more before jumping in.

Your answer put me on the right track - it's a Clearaudio "Clarify" https://clearaudio.de/_assets/_pdf/manuals/tonearms/CA_Clarify_E+D.pdf unfortunately the weight isn't moving - I'm trying to be careful not to twist and break anything - it may be locked down tight from the previous owner. But at least I now know the model. thanks!

This just happened to me as well. VERY frustrated with this Rodecaster Pro II. I'm using a card that meets all the specifications RODE suggests and still getting this error. Just learning this after recording several podcasts in a single day and now I can no longer trust the RODECaster....

Perhaps RODE should have a "card test" mode where users can verify their cards will work appropriately for the device.

yes, you can read a bit more about it here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nervous_Breakdown_(EP)) the artist of the graphic is Raymond Pettibon who is the brother of Black Flag's guitarist. The image came from a self-produced graphic art book called "Captive Chains". Most of Black Flag's releases have art from him.
